31st of may.

That will be seven weeks approval in such number crunching times of average processing time of 16 weeks. Hmnnn. Anything is possible. I wish you all the best, just wait and see. Shouldn't be too long I believe after you send your medical and passport in, you will know definitively.

I am curious what fee people paid to get a Nigerian police clearance and how long did it it take to get it? Was the fee negotiable? Here in Jos they charged me 20k. I mentioned this forum to the police that people here said it costs only 5k in Alagbon. They said that is Lagos and this is Jos. Does this make any sense?
They charged u 20k cos they will also bring it to alagbon to do on ur behalf, so it's just like u are paying for their transport fare. if only u can come to lagos u would have been able to do it for as low as 3k sef (depending on ur bargaining power but I think the least I have done is 3k)

After living in the United States 20 years, returning home is sweet and I don't want to go back. Why you don't want to return? It's not heaven oo where everyone that has gone refused to come back to earth. To the contrary, the west is a lot of stress. You buy just one house over a span of thirty years when your mates are buying it money down in Nigeria. Why you want to exchange genetically modified food that can give you cancer over organic home grown food in Nigeria ? Please go experience it for yourself. You will find that there is no place like home. And most people don't want to die in Canada, they want to come home and enjoy the latter years of their life in peace and tranquility where racism doesn't exist.

Hmm that's true bro. I actually intend coming back after I must have settled there, I will surely come back but it might still take a while.

Yes with God all things are possible I know. But let's not jump the gun. Why would they make him spend in sending his passport, only to find out that he didn't pass medicals. First things first. No proverbial putting of the plough infront of the cow as opposed to at its back. The occurrence is unprecedented. Let us carefully wait and observe. Hoping it's an approval and end in praise.

With God it is an approval .......We think positive here

NAIJA na your choice, CANADA our destination. The stress is blessed in the west. It is better to live in a less demonic region than to live in a region where its leaders are more cruel than demons.

you must be related to IG OF POLICE. ..even bail no free for police station

Like I said, there is no charge for police clearance certificate. It's when I started following this thread that I started seeing people dropping prices and numbers. I had to go back to ask their CP and he said and I quote " any officer that collects money for police clearance is collecting it in he's pocket" NPF doesn't charge.

This is just for your information oh.

Cheers
