In this case, I think she needs to make her separation legal. Even if she is not going for divorce straightaway, she needs legal backing that they are separated. This is very important, as in this case the husband will not have to go for medicals, but the children have to, she will also have to show POF for the kids. She needs to talk to a lawyer, who will advise her on what to do.

To add to this, if the hubby will not consent to making the children available for medicals; she has to present a legal document showing that she does not have custody and access to the children in order to waive the medicals.

Hello people,
I am about to apply for the EE. We are a family of four 2kids and 2adults. My son was born in Canada. Does he need to still do medicals since he is already a citizen and do I need to still pay the application fee for him. I am guessing I do not have to but someone was arguing that I do hence my confusion.

I dont think a citizen wud need PR o. The child may be listed in your application but i doubt u will have to pay for dat child. Seniors....pls put mouth

Good people of this great thread, I am about to start this great journey to Canny, however, my closely related occupation on the NOC list is 1222 in GROUP B which is Executive assistant, but on the letter from my office it says Personal Assistant, this was a position I was promoted to over a year ago, although I have been with the company for over 5 years. The job description on the NOC fits what I do presently.

My previous position was that of a travel and logistics officer. My question is can I apply under the NOC 1222 B which i just have 1 year plus experience or look for a NOC code with travel experience in it.

Getting reference letter from my office may be difficult as they are very strict with such letters.

MY PROFILE:

AGE: 37 BY OCTOBER

DEGREE: BSc and MSc Unilag

Preparing for IELTS

Also, I want my wife to do ECA assessment as well but the problem is are University ( Ekiti State University) have been asking around but no useful info yet, please is there anyone who can assist with this.

Thank you as I await your special advise.

Guys please am waiting for a response.

This is urgent please gurus assist,

Hi - if I were you, I will aim to get the max point from my work experience. In your case, I am assuming the max point will be from the 4+ years you've spent in your previous role within the same company. So, look for a NOC that closely matches a travel and logistics officer AND get a new reference letter to reflect the responsibilities of a travel and logistics officer.

Hope this clarifies the 1st part of your question at least?

All the best!

Good Day Everyone....

Gurus in the House, Please is Oanda and XE currency converter the only acceptable Forex converter? Because I came across some other currency converter websites like "(http://www.exchangerates.org.uk/currency-calculator.html), (https://www.mataf.net/en/currency/converter?m1=5500000) and (http://www.fxexchangerate.com/)" with more favourable rates in relation to the Naira.

The Naira Risk Exposure and Unfavorable Fluctions isn't too good for PR application at this time.

Good day house,

Please would I be required to send a copy of my Bachelors degree certificate as well to WES when I already have an MSc degree?

Depends on whether you are also assessing the Bachelor's degree. However, you only need to assess the MSc, in that case your BSc is not needed by WES.

You only get points for your highest degree, which in your case is your MSc. In the educational section of your EE profile, you will fill in the details of your MSc (which must have been assessed) and the details of your bachelor's degree will go into your personal history after ITA. It's obvious you need to take time out and read this thread, many more things are still in front of you, and they have already been tackled on this thread.

Dear Friends, WES just released my ECA report but I noticed a major error in the DOB - please do you know how far a request for amendment could take and can I proceed to use it for the express entry pending when it is resolved?

Hmmm, a friend of mine have been on this same issue for over 2 months now, trying to have the DOB corrected, it has been back and forth between the person's university in Nigeria and WES because they need another verification and I think it was the school that gave them wrong DOB on his transcript. He already has ITA and his 90 days will be up at the end of the month, so he might have to use an affidavit and his birth certificate if he is still unable to have it corrected. I think you should initiate the process of having it corrected and start your Express Entry process because the amendment might take a while, unless you are ready to wait. My opinion.
