It's a world for all. And I don't know why people re taking "Aspirin" for another man's headache.

Gen 19:4-11

4 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. 5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”
9 “Get out of our way,” they replied. “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. 11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.

4. Don't use Bible standards cos not everyone is a Christian.

To take away the Bible is to turn this world upside down. The Bible is the main reason why the world is still experience some level of peace. It has kept many who would have become horrible criminals from toeing that path. Ask why homosexuals hate the Bible. They do cos it judges them and reminds them of their disgusting sin.

5. Where is it written in the Bible that the law of God is against homosexuality?

1 Timothy 1:8-11
8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.
9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,
10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine

6. Homosexuals are not harmful

Says who? Currently, they are demanding for equal rights. They want their perversed lifestyle to be normalized. Now, they have moved into cartoons and soon your little baby boy will come home one day and tell you he is now a girl because some Disney cartoon brainwashed him. They now want to ensure that birth certificates are issued blank so that the baby will fill whatever sex he or she wants when grown. The world is still battling curbing rapists, yet some freaks want us to condoned gays. Don't you know that even as you are a man, you could get raped by a man? They are forcing their lifestyle on the world. Fornicators, thieves, liars, gangsters etc aren't forcing their sin on the world. They know they are sinful, but homosexuals don't see their act as sinful and disgusting. These days, if you express an anti-gay opinion, homosexuals and their supporters who are actually godless and satanic people will call you a backward, archaic, uncivilized and mentally disabled person. Soon you won't be able to get or hold a job unless you support or show indifference to homosexuality. Take a look at the CEOs and owners of the major corporations in the world. More than half of them are homosexuals and bisexuals.

@Picture

1. A sewage discharge. Do you expect someone who is in love with sewage and faeces to not always support everything horrible?

Do you really think the world will be safe if we legalize the ways of the abnormal people in the picture below?

The Bible already told us that, there is no big or small sin,

Lying, stealing, fornication, adultery etc
are all on par with homosexuality in the sin chart

Thank you.

No sin is greater than the other.

Yet they view homosexuality higher than formication and adultery.

Any Christian that feels homosexuality and fornication are not at par with each other is a confirmed hypocrite.

That same lake of fire reserved for homosexuals is equally reserved for fornicators and adulterers.
Infact, the one for fornicators probably has a higher temperature, extra hot for their hypocrisy.

Anyway, I won't judge any man. But that is my own understanding of the matter. The bible hates all sins. Sexual sins inclusive, and non is worse than the other, or better than the other.

I have come to accept fornicators as being weak of the flesh. The most I can do is to pray for them if I'm so concerned. So also the same way I've accepted homosexuals as being weak of the flesh, and would also offer my prayers for them, if I'm so concerned.

It boggles the mind why a "none" homosexual is so obsessed with homosexuality to the extent they have gone to great lengths to express what they hate about it, unprompted! It would seem this poster is having a bout with existential crises.

Lol. Funny Christians excusing their own sins and picking out other people's sins. Hypocrites. There will be more Christians in hell than gay people.

Ezekiel 16:49-50 already explains what God was angry about. It was the totality of all the sins in Sodom and Gomorrah and not one particular sin. So when u try to separate fornication from homosexuality (perhaps because the former is ur own personal sin) I just laugh.

So point 1 is null and void. U will burn in hell with gay people because all sins ask for vengeance from God. You don't get to cherry pick. Sorry. I hope the devil makes the gay people in hell butthump all the hypocritical Christians that will wind up in hell too. Amen.

You just said it all.

Most Christians just have to pick sins the commit out of the book, to judge other sins.

SIN NA SIN......

My view on Homosexuality. Yes, I do agree they were never born that way, but guess what?. They're human, So We should treat them like we do to everyone else...WITH RESPECT!....Its not our right or position to judge or condemn, but God's. That alone is a sin in the eyes of God. When I see an homosexual, I'd love and care for one like I would with a straight person.

The earlier u understand that christian rate is personal, the better for u. Whoever wants to steal, fornicate, involve in immoral acts is doing that to his/her own disadvantage. He that thinks he stand, take heed before he fall.

You are still missing the point. The sin God wanted the angels to go investigate was not just being gay alone. It was all the sins that were crying out, get it?

But the one that was hammered on in the Bible is the sin of homosexuality. The Bible didn't point out the other sins for one reason which is cos they were sins people committed before Sodom. But God had to destroy Sodom cos of homosexuality. That's why Sodom was recorded in the book of Genesis for homosexual sin as seen by the Bible passage above where even angels almost got raped by the YOUNG and OLD Men of the city.

Today, the word sodomy or sodomite stands for homosexual.

So you see, you are missing the point or intentionally trying to destroy this thread by likening homosexual sin to other sins. Mind you, this thread is about homosexuals not fornication. Countless threads on fornication have been on nairaland even on front page. I don't think fornicators visited the thread to drag in homosexuals so as justify their own sin.

You can go open an anti-fornication thread somewhere else.

NPComplete:

Fornicators know they are sinners so they go about begging people to accept them that way, u say, but gay people want their sin to be legalised. Maybe that's because gay people have laws against them. How many laws do u see against fornication? And how many people have been thrown in jail for lasciviousness? Maybe if we weren't creating laws to harm and imprison gay people they wouldn't be asking for their act to be legalised. Think dude, think!!!

Laws against homosexuals were not implemented until Gays started demanding for their way of life to be made Law and generally accepted. That was what led to the laws against them cos a sane society see their lifestyle as barbaric, even animals know better than them.

They claim to just wanted to be in their bedrooms, but now they want to be in public.

NPComplete:

Where did u get your proof that they want to make the whole world gay? Where? You can't just come here and make stupid claims. Back it up with proof. And don't u go be bringing up conspiracy theories and websites because u will only be setting yourself up to get insulted.

Currently there are cartoons with gay characters. Hollywood movies now have gay characters and gay scenes. Magazines are now featuring gays. They are now venturing into school curriculum. That's just a few. Google is your friend, but I doubt you will research cos you are in bed with homosexuals.

They don't want to make the world gay, yet Obama who ensured the legalization of LGBT in American became furious at Goodluck Jonathan for allowing an anti-gay law to hold in Nigeria. What about how they have been trying to implement that law in Zimbabwe. If not for Mugabe, that country would have been a sewage by now. What message did you think Obama took to Kenya? Pls research.

NPComplete:

And no, u don't even know your bible, God already planned to destroy the city before the angels even got there. That was the whole point of the banter between Abraham and God to see whether the city could be saved if there was enough righteous people. Your bias is even making you to misunderstand the bible. Read your bible well. The sole mission of the angels was to evacuate Lot and his family. Capisce?

Yes, God had already decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and the actions of the homosexual made it worse by trying to rape the angels of God. Idiots grin

You speak of Abraham but you don't know how he bargained with God but couldn't win. He started from 50 righteous men, begging God to spare Sodom if there could be 50 righteous men in the city. &e even brought down the number to 10 but there couldn't be found righteous me. up to that number. So you see, there was no righteous man except Lot. Why wasn't there more than one righteous man? That's because those that were not gay, people like yourself, saw nothing wrong with the activities of homosexuals. And one thing about allowing one sin to fester out of control is that it allows the growth of other sins. The people saw nothing wrong about homosexuality, which means they approved it. Their approval of it enabled them to become sinful too. Once you see nothing wrong with evil or fail to speak against it, then you will one day do evil. His saved Lot cos he was always vexed by the actions of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Those that were destroyed saw nothing wrong with their sin. That's the same mindset you want people of today to have. That mindset destroyed the gays and non-gays of Sodom. You want God to destroy us. Shame

NPComplete:

The whole point of this thread is pointless. Christians have never agreed on one exact set of things. Some will support or be indifferent towards homosexuals and others won't just like some are indifferent towards wearing trousers and earnings and others aren't. Just like some are indifferent towards Mary and others aren't. Just like some are...........you see where this is going right?

As far as I can see, I think this thread is to make Christians take a stand against homosexuality according to what the Bible states. The Bible doesn't advise to be indifferent about homosexuals or even see nothing wrong with it. The Bible command we shun such and not accept them into our midst.

Inside there immorality in sodom and gomora, Lot was able to raise two virgins. Not the typical mentality that if you can't beat them you join them. Lot held his grounds.
