Friend , for you it is food for thought. For me it is away to easily get broke. What happens if you enter at support and there is a break of it. Loss only come in when you sold GOOD stock because of fear? Patience is virtue when you know what you are (buying)doing. 20% of N10m is N2m. That is good you said 3 days, however some people have held that price for months and years before that upside. Your 3 days is just plain luck. 100% in 6 months is N10m, see the margin. Pa Ewumi held UBA from N2.8 to N10 just putting in N3m will earn him N10m.Some of us would have sold at N3.36 earning pantry N600k. You don't need to play all stocks JIJO every where. Select good ones at good price and stay with it. If you have job be focus if you don't have go look for one.

No body is sure of anything, sure, align your portfolio and do risk management. Some buy Nestle at N650 and sold at N900 because of all this emotional imbalance and lack of patience. within more few days the price has gathered momentum making another 30% still going. When I saw the price at N800 I new it is time to jump in. It broke N800 to N650 somebody would have said I should cut my losses and move on
See the thing trading at N1200.

you see admonitions like dis when d mad bear enters d market....

bros lets stop criticizing each other's trading plan, we are in this market for different purposes, at various stages of our trading experience, capital availability grossly differs, time factor etc....

Identify what works for you and perfect it... review it as your situation changes. No single road to success!

Rather a few more insider info/gist of the companies may help us make more money.... not Loco's type though grin

Really!!!
what of those that bought FLOURMILL @N110 and FIRSTBANK@N16 3yrs ago just to mention but few or do you want to tell me they aren't fundamental sound stocks back then

You picked Nestle @ it 8yrs year low price and use as example.
clap for yourself.

Well like I said earlier if you are trading with sizeable amount of fund simply split it into 3.

Then buy one or two good stocks at most and keep watching if you are losing then leverage with your 2nd purchase but you if you are fortunate to get 15-20% pull your fund as fast as you can and celebrate your victory.

Stop comparing yourself with a civil servants that might have plan of investing 5% of his salary for a long time frame into numerous equities with HOPE of using their dividend as retirement benefits.

CASH is and will always remain the KING.
I get am BEFORE no be PROPERTY.
So let's wise up.

Read this on a blog I follow.. interesting

What Is The Difference Between A Stock Picker And A Dog Catcher?

Summary

The stock picker seeks a perfect stock.

The dog catcher perfects his dog stalking.

None. Both seek that which chooses not to be found.

The summary tells it all. There is no more to this blog.

Crypto has no fundamentals. A coin can make 5000% in less than one hour. grin

Most people on this thread are traders and not investors. That's why you see them quoting unrealistic entry and exit prices.

To each his/her own. Like BullBearMkt will say PLAN YOUR TRADE, TRADE YOUR PLAN.

Use whatever investment strategy and selection criteria that works for you as long as it is based on facts/information/data/patterns etc and not on wishful thinking or sentiment.

We all have different investment goals, temperaments, trading psychology, experience, financial knowledge and risk appetites. All these will shape your trading style.

Bottom line is do what works for you.

I like the way we console ourselves during bear regime. It plays up the adage that i used to know: when you marry a good wife you are seen as a man of wisdom, but when you marry a bad nagging wife, you end up becoming a philosopher grin

Buy a good stock and you are a great guy, but get stuck to a bad stock you will be forced to remember philosophically all the poetic says of Warren Buffet et al cheesy cheesy
