Provide the soa even if embassy doesn't ask for it, my Friend chose al/1 and he was asked to provide the soa after a month, he his yet to get Is grant till now.

It depends on the persons company account you are using, if it's your parents own, u have no much problem as long as he can write a Sponsorship letter and also show the relationship between you as his son to him, but if it another person's account that doesn't bear your surname, you will have to prove the connection you have with such person and d document must be notarized and not fake, if the company is a trading company, you no you have to have the cac documents to show for the Registered company trading account you are using. The main thing is to show a connection between you and the person's that owns the account you want to use so as to convince the Consular Officer, hope you understand

AUD 35000 is enough to start and get you settled down in Sydney. It should cover your first year tuition fees (depends on your uni) and the other things you mentioned plus upkeep for maybe a month. Cost of living especially accommodation and food is unbelievably expensive here.

Just plan to arrive with first year tuition fees and 6 months upkeep then your life will be easy. You can hustle the rest in Sydney by working smart.

Got cleared by immigration and thereafter customs. Very very very seamless. No single question.

Wrong information. If you are not allowed to apply for post study visa, it will be stated as a condition on your visa. Not all scholarships require you to go back after your studies. In most cases, it's usually the scholarships sponsored by the Australian government. For instance, if you are on the University's scholarship, you are allowed to apply for post study visa when you complete your studies. I know because I'm on the Uni's scholarship & have friends that were on same scholarship, finished & no on post study visa.

Hi guys just a quick info. Australia changed their sponsorship list last week. Only your parents, spouse and yourself can sponsor your studies in australia. There is also a new format for statement of purpose from the australian embassy. Info gotten from Bcie.

Your chances of switching courses on arrival is negative, because DIBP will not give you visa to study diploma of IT.

Before wasting your money and time, and accusing DIBP of wickedness, look around and check how many diploma applications have been approved recently.

First application was in April 2015, refusal came in May reason for the refusal was because of a hand written letter that i attatched to my application stating that i did my traditional marriage in June 21 the case officer said my husband already had a student visa then that he didnt indicate it he was married in his application.
Second application was refused in September 2015, reason for refusal was because of a mistake the court made on my marriage certificate. Date of marriage 10/1/2014 date celebrated 10/1/2015. Bt we got married n it was celebrated on 10/1/2015.
Third application was in May. I applied May 10, Biometrics May 15

It's pretty straight forward. You will see all the requirment on the imm page. Marriage certificate, passport data page, change of name, court affidavit etc. Apply early cos it can take foreva to get your grant.

Pls, for Those that DIBP Was already done with there application but the admission was already on and was told To get a new COE and differ there admission to Feb. 2018, pls when would there visa be granted, how many months b4 the resumption date .
