the closest is infinix Hot 5, but it is still expensive than the m8 plus it lacks 4G and finger print. M8 pro is a steal.

Hot 5 has a fingerprint sensor, It's the Hot 5 lite that doesn't have fingerprint sensor

The display is better. Leagoo uses really outdated LCD panel that heats up the phone which leads to slow charging speed, slow charger in the box and very cheap plastic

Mr Henry, generally, the leagoo m8 pro is better than the infinix hot 5 (Using the hot 4 with nougat as comparison)

Value for money- Leagoo takes this.

Performance- Might be on par or the Leagoo takes it... (6537>>>>>>6580)

Camera- In my opinion, both devices have their flaws but infinix takes this with a mid majority. Reason being,
*cons of leagoo shooters- abysmally poor low light shots, too much noise even in moderately lit environment, single led flash is poor, even poorer is its zoom quality

*cons of infinix shooter- super oversaturated picture quality, poor low light shots, zoom quality could be better.

Battery- infinix takes the lead however closely followed by the leagoo

Screen + pixel- Honestly, I can discern the pixels on the 5.7" of the leagoo and the 5.5" on the infinix (hot 4) but for some unknown reasons, the IPS panel used on the Leagoo is better than that on the infinix (I mean the greens and reds of this phone are really poppy all thanks to miraVision, something the infinix touts as well)

Connectivity- Leagoo takes it with a slight majority mainly due to the 4G band on the Leagoo

Body, Build and Athestics- This is personal, Leagoo feels very good although I am not in terms with the glossy back cover and its weight... but I think it is a better looking device than the Infinix, which I will happily steal its back cover as a main for mine if it were to fit..... this is my opinion.

Other perks- Sound on the Leagoo is quite loud and not distorted at highest level (this id much better than the hot 4) and infinix has introduced Dirac sound engine to its dual front speakers on the hot 5 .... I am thinking, Infinix.


Basically, Leagoo has much to offer at its price than the Infinix hence it's a winner on paper and in real life usage...

Nigerian youths are very sensitive, we see that a number of persons are offering their newly got smartphone for sale, now that sends a negative message to a lay Nigerian especially for a brand barely known. This same occurrence happened some while ago when the infinix hot 3 was on every page on Olx... Shall I draw a conclusion that the hot 3, at its time, was a bad device? NO!. People will sell anything and as I even type this, the infinix Note 4 is out for sale on OLX...

Most custom OS don't work with finger print, if u r ready to forfeit the fingerprint then contact samthomp

Hope you have not changed the screen?
What really happened to your phone is that you charged it with wrong voltage I.e. I pass my neighbour generator.
Make sure you drain the battery and charge it with normal and stable voltage.

That's Chinko for you. When you disconnect charger, your screen would start behaving well again. Maybe you're using a charger with high voltage.
