Good morning house
a quick question, i paid my Sevis on 22/10/2016, i was offer admission into a particular school last year, but wasnt satisfied and i opted for another schools admission in just concluded fall admission season, so had to transfer my SEVIS Payment from the fist school to the new school, for other reasons again i differed my admission to Spring admission season for 2018 , which i believe by then i would be ready to start class and concentrate properly , my question is? on my SEVIS receipt it was written there that OMB 1653-0034 expires on 31/5/2018, my new school would not be issuing any new i20 until middle or late of October, which means before i have new i20, it would be around middle of November, please does it means i have to pay another SEVIS fee before i attend F1 interview
i would be glad if justice could be done to my question as soon as possible
thanks

Oga your question is not even clear. When are you planning to attend the school? 2018 or 2019?

NO Nigeria is an English speaking country, so students from Nigeria Enjoys English waiver, check the school site for more information

Even Nigeria is an English speaking country, Nigerians are not seen as native speakers. Waiving IELTS or TOEFL is at the discretion of the school. Why are people writing TOEFL or IELTS in Nigeria?

The validity of a Sevis fee is 12months. 22/10/2016 to November 2017 which you'll be getting another i-20 is over 12months. You'll need to pay another Sevis fee i guess. You can also wait for other people's reply.

couldnt read through it all but it simple. if on the day of your next interview is before 21/10/2017 then you dont pay another SEVIS

IF the date of your next interview is on or after 22/10 /2018 then yes you pay another

SEVIS is valid for exactly one year

Any Ladokite in the house...?? Should please Holla... How did you go about your transcript?? As this long strike has been a major barrier getting a transcript.. Thanks

There are schools that give conditional admits as well, with your unofficial transcript. Start googling, emailing and calling schools. You do have work to do.

So I have a question for those who have been in the US for a while :

Is it normal that you are been ostracized by the white folks like your classmates . I am not speaking racism, I have white friends and we talk and discuss on the regular but when it comes to like forming a group or having a partner everyone tries to avoid you.

The latest was on our last field trip. Everyone had sitting partners and I was left to sit alone undecided . Even my "so called friends.

Is this a normal experience or it's just me ?

I would have called you a hillbilly but fortunately you are not white.

You seem to be the one with the problem. Amn't telling you to be a "wannabe" but if you need things done and want to blend into your new community you have to debug yourself of that "African booty scratcher" mentality act sophisticated, show some swag (not sagging pants lol) remove that low self esteem that is holding you down because of your color or new environment.

Don't be a noreos or white people worshipper and be smart (brain and pocket wise)

You will not only be loved by Caucasians but you will also knack them wella to an extent some blacks will start to beef you.

but the minimum balance was last seen in april...can I still use it?

The minimum balance that you require should be seen as at the date of printing the statement. People usually print at the time the balance is high before funds are used. 6 months after the date of printing is still valid.

If I'm correct you're still in your first year, wait till later. It's usual to experience this but after everyone had known their standing and values in the class, then the intimacy becomes better. On your own part, try socialize and be open to everyone in your class. Don't be a walk over and see how much they will cherish you.

Imagine two Asian girls in my class came to my house one saturday to cook for me during our second year in grad school. One of them later came back anotger time..... just for visiting smiley Would they ever do that in our first year? Not even the Asians that only follow each other or the whites.

Thanks Bros.. cheesy cheesy

thanks for your response... Now this is the problem I am facing.. I checked my file and I was unable to get my whole results from 100l to 500l....Back in school, my department didn't give us 400l rain and hamartan semester results, it was pasted.. So those are the ones I couldnt get... But I have the rest from 100, 200,300 and 500. But I have Collected my original Certificate... So now, what I am thinking is just attaching my final 500l result with the original certificate and package it as my transcript.. Please, can it work that way...?The house too should please come to my aid ..
