My guy you are wise.. I like the mtn example. 10 percent return on investment is good enough.
It is arrd 12% NOT Even 10% and It IS a guarantee because it is not perishable and it can be returned if you not selling or wants to quit the biz.The good thing is that you can even make more than that unlike recharge card. This one you can offer installation service for 3k and sell cables and the likes for installation I am just amazed why he complains about this good offer

This TSTV have an opportunity to put dstv into extinction and they are messing it up. If I were a member of their board, I would have suggested "Come along with your DSTV decoder and pay 2,500 for tstv decoder and first subscription. Choiii, dstv would be completely battered once and for all.
ho my gad.. This business to hell

Americans should also pack their internet and go back to the US, we don't need to browse even nairaland.
How much Nigerian content is on TSTV for our nollywood and music stars?
Or na only Internet hotspot to watch Indecency you want chop as EMPLOYMENT?
Your mumu never start, talk less of sey e do.
atleast all the income made in nigeria won't be converted to dollars and shipped to south africa.

More jobs. And as time goes on, you expect more local content been shipped to all over west africa that tstv has its coverage.

Is this the picture of the hybrid decoder?

When a friend who leaves in Canada told me about 3yrs ago that in Canada, he pays only one subscription for phone calls unlimited, satellite TV and internet unlimited for an equivalent of about 15k for one month with pause mode from a single decoder, I hoped it would happen someday in Nigeria. Now it has appeared via TSTV.
For all those making failure analysis of TSTV, make una no vex o!, na wetin DStv and Nigerian politician don brainwash una with high price over the years na im cause am.

Remember say one politician said in the 80's that telephone is not meant for the poor. Today, Android phone wey im no see for life dey poor man hand now. Time will tell

This TSTV of a thing is a proof that there is no day that Nigerians will ever be wise. It was first Buhari's change mantra, then MMM, now TSTV. Same gullible tricks from the pit of hell to deceive the same sets of people.
You all want inexpensive internet and quality TV and ability to pause your shows and do more wonders all For 5000 naira and 200 naira monthly subscription. It just won't work.
We will all be here when those that are leaking their sores about buying the decoder will come and share their testimony on Nairaland Frontpage soon. Let's all be patient.

The last time I posted this kind of thing people called me all sorts of names from enemy of progress to DSTV agent, etc. Is it that the suffering in this country is too much that people just become guallible to everything. Nothing good comes cheap it is not rocket science. Its just like trying to buy a Tesla Model S for $20,000. Live football, HD content, ability to pause and resume, free data.. etc all for between N200 to N3,000. Ok lets keep our fingers crossed but I won't be surprised if they end up being trash. This is the same thing APC promised with change, when Ntel launched every thread on nairaland was about Ntel and people were salivating even before they launched, a lot of people were saying this is the end of MTN. Then after like 4 months what happened? Different threads started springing in on how Ntel weren't ready, how rubbish they are..etc. Again same thing happened with MMM.

I am not against TSTV, I like their project but is what they promise possible with the price? This is where I am getting skeptical and not buying into this. They probably just wanna sell decoders to early adopters and probably go into think air.. I just don't know why people are so excited for what they have not even seen work. But if we talk now dem go call is DSTV agent. Let's wait and see how this goes but I won't be surprised if we start seeing disappointing TSTV threads in the coming months.

Dumb question. Ur 10gb can last 1 day or as long as u want until it expires. It depends on how u use it. I burn more than 120gb a month.

The highlighted is the only reasonable statement upthere bro.
Condemning TStv outrightly is totally wrong because you can't condemn what you didn't see. People are happy because they feel tstv is the messiah on a rescue mission based on what they promise. I doubt if your opinion can change peoples mind here. A lot of people are determined to buy it.

I am waiting for review before purchasing TSTV as well. Let's wait and watch.

I have never condemned TSTV, just being skeptical, and a lot of people u are calling dtsv agents did not condemn TSTV either. I mean who no like better thing, who no like cheap things? But then I think it is too early to call them 'messiah' just yet because as far as I am concerned everything that has been called a messiah in this country have turned out the other way. HiTV, APC, Darsaat, Ntel, etc were once called the 'messiah'

You obviously can't read between the line.

So who are the internet providers? Lemme guess, america? cheesy
because america invented internet, it means they are the sole internet provider abi?

Do you even know that they make decoders in nigeria? Obviously you are ignorant of that.
What makes you think tstv decoders are not gonna be made in nigeria like the digitization set top boxes that are made in nigeria?

Did you read the part where I said local content will grow further?
E.g ts sport already has its studio in abuja instead of broadcasting from south africa.
They will start having shows like big brother naija that will be made in nigeria instead of south africa if they allow tstv to grow and have deep pocket too.

wen GOTV starts sending messages like the one below you must b aware that the competition has started.
let TSTV prepare.
' Your subscription on IUC . expires 04/10. Renew with N 1900.00 & stay active non-stop for 3 months to get 2 extra channels & N300 airtime monthly'

Re: A Thread For TSTV First Experience And The Hotspot by kuma007(m): 9:43am On Oct 03, 2017
I am very optimistic about the competition TSTV will bring into the market. However, I doubt if it will compete favourably with DSTV. This is because i don't think TSTV will be able to show most live English Premier League matches like DSTV and that is the main reason DSTV is still a force to reckon with in Nigeria. In other words, without unfettered right to show live EPL matches like DSTV, TSTV would only compete with the likes of GOTV and Startimes. Those who can afford maximum subscription on DSTV would not be enticed by the data incentive on TSTV because they have enough to subscribe for unlimited data from the regular telecoms service provider in Nigeria. I want TSTV to succeed but competing favorably with DSTV is very doubtful.
