Congratulations! What course did you apply for? Does it relate to your undergrad course/work experience?

Thanks a lot. I copied no 1 in error. It was not ticked. All they ticked was financial and all.

Would you advise that we reapply asap. But the follow are some facts.

After we submitted he transferred the 5m to me. To which I have used 2.5m to purchase dollars which is currently in my dom account. Because I got opportunity to purchase dollars at bank rate. I have some money. So I can submit my bank statements and investment again.

I did a breakdown of what we earn from my parents landed properties to which some can be highlighted in my bank statement.

I also intend to include my younger sister's bank statement and investment letter to proof she is not my dependent as she works now.

I will also highlight inflows from my daughter's father. Showing he is financially responsible for her.

Is it worth giving another shot

The kind of business I do does not have structure. Cos it's buying and selling. Although I make about 200K monthly
Considering that your bro's admission is for winter 2018, it will be advisable the application is sent in ASAP. Normally, i would suggest you request for his GCMS note if he is considering resuming during the summer 2018 or fall 2018 terms respectively. However, the refusal apparently bothered around him not meeting the requirements of sufficient funds and your ability as his sponsor.

I strongly advise you pay his first year tuition. Transfer the dollars you have into a dorm account opened in his name. A visa officer is more interested in the fact that the applicant(brother) have access to funds for the first year (tuition and living expenses) without a recourse to working in Canada.

Your move to allay any doubt about your sister and daughter's financial independence from you is good. Anything to show an officer that there is enough source of income for you as sponsor will stand firm regarding your competence to fulfill the responsibility.

Another important thing i have noticed lately is that officers categorize siblings sponsorship as a '3rd party' sponsorship. So ensure you add enough evidence of relationship to you bro,(birth cert, any other identification doc). Do not forget the affidavit of financial support too. The landed property earnings should be proof inclusive. Making claims alone without evidence does not amount to existence. Proofs are what officers work with. So endeavour to add things that will back up all claims.

Your brother is the primary applicant and you being his sponsor MUST in evidence show that he will have access to funds declared in his application and others shown in various forms( tuition, funds in convertible currencies, funds that you will earn over the course of his 4 years program). He is required to just show access to funds for the first year ONLY. Evidence of sufficient financial support for subsequent years will pass too.

All the best to you both. Regards.

Hello Bro, Congratulations plenty plenty.

Did you say you applied for visit visa for your both parents along with your study permit?

If yes, are your parents your sponsor or who is your sponsor?

Your application is indeed unique in my eyes.

Thank you very much and specifically for specifying you are a sister. I declare that special anointing (the type we have seen with GlitteringStar) to be multiplied in your life now. I know you are yet to be taken so no excuse.

Brothers; the floor is open now, when she moves, the competition will be stiff because foreigners will involve!

Congrats plenty plenty again. Am sure your parents are pouring champagne; they can visit you at will without waiting for CIC

Been a silent reader for sometime now, the person with 2.2 did he go for msc or pgd or pgc, Am curious!
What university?

you stated you did graduate studies in the USA, can you please explain how you ended up in Canada, is it through phd? is it possible incase one didn't succeed in the Canadian dream, can such person try Usa, come to Canada to do Phd and still end up with PR

don't mind my numerous questions!!

Thanks smiley
The person went for a PGC. No I don't live in Canada and have never lived in Canada. I live in the US. I stumbled upon this thread some years ago while trying to help a sibling get her TRV after she had been denied the first time. After she got approved, I helped two other siblings as well and they got approved.

Yes you can go from the US to Canada, or Canada to US if you want, so long as you get a visa.
