People with less understanding of a religion should just keep quiet. I don't know how the use of niqab be equated to indecent dressing, that a school is bringing up rules doesn't mean they should infringe on some fundermental human rights. The bill board was erected to shun indecent dressing and not security challenges. I'm sure the designer made a mistake and the billboard will be replaced.

If you have a problem with believers of a faith based on their character or behaviour, keep it with them and not liken it to the religion. And am so sure many of these commenters have close dealings with the muslims.

No you are the hypocrite. Wearing the full face veil makes it difficult to identify potential criminals from innocent victims. The billboard just stated that certain types of dressing were banned. Niqab is one of them. In these days of Boko Haram and insecurity, only a fanatic would persist in wearing such a thing. End of story.

The country is in reality a religious republic ruled by poorly educated religious fanatics at all levels. How do you define immoral dressing? By what standards? By religious and cultural standards in a supposed secular state?? Such laws, which obviously have religious roots, violate the separation of religion and state. I think it's an absurd for the school mgt to have categorized Niqab with those half naked people there. If the school mgt doesn't want any of their students to be in Niqab, there should a better way to communicate it to the Muslims body (MSSN) in the institution rather than termed it indecency.

The issue is not about the Niqab being banned or not. But the fact that it was tagged lousy and immoral.

It's an insult to all those mothers wearing Niqob because an institution regard Niqob as indecent dressing
