Of course i had already called some of the laggards out earlier. Mkhitaryan's form has seriously declined but that still doesn't justify why I should watch a clown like Lingard.

Lose possesion? foreal? please go and watch the game again and tell me how many counter attacks he killed with misplaced passes. Lingard was utterly useless today......though He was not the worst player on the pitch.

We dropped points where we should have collected three. Jones should have at least waited for Rojo to return before getting injured. Lindelof is not ready yet. I also discovered that Lindelof is slow. This will be another problem.


Mata's attacking play was nonexistence, we also saw him when he dropped to the center line, and he lost the ball twice in dangerous situations.

The way we played second half with intense pressure reminds me of SAF days. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the equalizer. Smalling messed up a big chance at the very end. I was wondering why Smalling who has poor attacking play was upfront while Mkhitaryan dropped deep. Another player could have placed that ball well into the net, may be even Lindelof.

We need our injured players back. That's the only way. Fellaini's aerial threat, Bailly's confidence in defence, Jones solid play, Pogba's midfield control, Rojo too. We need these guys back as quickly as possible.

So they should keep thrusting through the congested middle where they couldn't get a goal for the most of the game?

We've scored numerous goals from the wings. The assist Lukaku gave Rashford came from down the wing. Why not try playing from the wings!?


Not saying it's a surefire solution but stretching their defence to the edges will create enough pockets of space for Lukaku and other attackers. We kept trying to break them down the middle all to no avail, why not try something else!? You can't keep repeating the same thing and hope for a different result.
