OkaiCorne:

Tithing is good especially if you are doing it with a clear mind before God and not under the influence of a manipulative fraudster in suit.

However, sacrificial giving to the cause of Humanity is FAR BETTER...Did you read the part of the bible that states giving to the Orphans and Widows is tantamount to lending to God?

If Tithing and Sacrificial giving are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE OPTIONS, which option will you opt for in line with the mentality of Jesus Christ?

Just give...
That's all

Let the love flow

Let's all take a chill pill on this atheist vs theist stuff.
Can we just move on with life and focus on more pressing issues that affects humanity?

Good night everyone

Its has become imperative to do this in the current dispensation.

Our Lord was not a tither

You are not a Christian to pay tithe and get rich

Jesus is the Shepherd, he doesn't tithe

Re: Anti-tithing Thread by betterABIAstate: 11:31pm On Nov 08, 2017
Only Jesus is the way

Re: Anti-tithing Thread by Nobody: 11:31pm On Nov 08, 2017
Those anti tithes are satanic and are being used by Lucifer to lure men to hell. They tend to twist the scriptures same way Satan did when tempting Eve and Jesus. They know the truth but they choose to draw men to hell. I pray many believers don't fall for their trick because the word can't lie. No thief will ever make it to heaven.

Yes you will. The Bible made it clear in 1 cor 6:10 that no thief will inherit heaven

Did Jesus change the law or fulfilled it? Did he condemned people because they pay tithe? These are questions you should ask

Jesus didn't neither did he changed the tradition

Jesus didn't need to pay tithe because he was God in form of man on earth. He never admonished his followers not to pay tithe. That he was silent about it doesn't mean he was against it.

As for me, I am not against something that is good (TITHING) when it is done with clear understanding devoid of manipulation by fraudsters in suit BUT why settle for good (TITHE) when there is better (Sacrificial giving to the less privileged)?

I ask this question again... if Tithing and Giving to the less privileged are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE options, which one will you do in line with the mentality of Jesus Christ...or aren't you a Christian?

Is it not funny that Jesus was quiet on tithing but was vocal on giving to the thirsty and hungry...the widows and orphans e.t.c.

Its not your business!
You are not a Christian.

Just as the tenets of budhism or any other religion wont make sense to me, so dont expect Christian tenets to make sense to you

I hope you know that no religion or ideology under Heaven has total monopoly of the TRUTH.

so what's christianity if not living the life of Christ, is it too difficult to do that?

iqaae made in his image, I am a Christian and I will live the life of Jesus, I'm a mini-god because I'm the child of God tjrouvt Jesus, not through tithe.

the vale of the temple has been torn, we can't live under the law of burnt offering, tithing and not shaving of beard. You only need the blood of Jesus

Funny thing is, it's not even a Christian tenet. It's a Jewish practice.

Tithing was before the law. Get a bible

He's got the whole world in his hand. He got the whole world in his hand. He's got the whole wide world in his had but he needs your money for maintenance, he doesn't care if your broke just pay your tithe. After you pay your tithe you pay your seed, after you pay your seed you pay your levy for pastors appreciation. Then you go home with no money and no food in your kitchen while pastor and his wife they're eating chicken but god has the whole world in his hand.

It goes beyond the blood as some preachers are preaching everywhere. Such preachers if they have the holy spirit in them they wouldn't argue about tithing unnecessarily.
