no no.. Don't mistake it, hip hop has sub genres now.. Most of this your "shiit" rappers belong to "trap" music which was started by T.I.. It involves more of modernized G Funk beats, basses and less lyrical content..

Rap still is dominated by Kendrick Lamar, drake, jcole, jay-z, k camp, big Sean.
