Hi, the introductory page has the affiliate university name. While the transcript proper has Nti. Do you know the TOEFL breakdown equivalent to the ietls score.?
teeebest:

Hello, we have the same qualifications and occupation (Maths Teacher). As stated above, you can't apply as a Mathematician because of the JD and at least a year experience.

Related occupations are early childhood teacher - 241111, primary school teacher - 241213, middle school teacher - 241311 and secondary school teacher-241411(Depending on your present level of teaching)

AITSL will assess you. They only take IELTS - 8/8/7/7(8 in both speaking and Listening). There must also be an official letter from your university stating that you did the mandatory teaching practice.

Quick question pls: Is NTI written on your transcript or the University NTI is affiliated to? I need to apply for mine.

Thank you very much my brother for these words of relief. I really don't mind as long as its a legal means of leaving this country.
I will research on it.
Meanwhile can you further advice on my next step now?
TRed:
@Obigirl
That's the spirit my sis, you're surely a winner.
Take a look at the agricultural technician as suggested. It's only available on the 489 visa for south Australia and Nsw(Riverina to be precise). The comforting news here is that there is high rate of ITAs for 489 applications from South Australia, and Nsw is not doing badly on 489 either.

I hope you don't mind the 489 visa though? Anyway, we may all start begging for it with the current trend and the reports on their consultations. Their reservation for a temporary residency visa period before full residency at the moment is the need for Australia to remain a competitive destination for migrants. They are presently looking at ways for migrants to firstly contribute to the economy before they can access their social programs and whenever they find a solution, the implementation will always be through adjusting various visa conditions.

Hello everyone, I will like to know what is the likelihood of getting an invite for 190 visa for an accountant on 70 points. I'm weighing the option of husby writing IELTS and having his credentials assessed (over N300k just for 5 points). This will bring total points to 70.

Another option is for him to be the main applicant but his nominated occupation customer service manager is only available for 190 visa which is not sure that the invitation will come.

@toslad @bellong please assist

I think the first step is to work with Vetassess gurus in the house to repackage your application for your chosen occupation.

You then need a personal score of 50 to apply for 489.

Application fee for South Australia is $200, whilst that of Riverina (NSW) is $770.

I just realized Agricultural Agricultural Technician is also available on 489 for Tasmania. Application fee: $free.

There is agricultural scientist also available for all three regions under 489, you may check that out too.

Hi guys.
Please, i need your advice.
I have been hearing about Australian PR. I am really confused on what to do in relocating.
Am an Accounting graduate with second class upper degree who started training in an international audit firm in lagos in 2010 as an Audit Associate, after three and half years went to further my studies in forensic accounting in United Kingdom where I gained a master degree and had a merit. After study joined back my firm and was an Audit Senior Associate till i left end of 2016.
Having in total close to 5 years experience in Financial Audit. Moved as an Accountant reporting to the Financial controller in a growing energy servicing firm from late 2016 till date. My wife is a graduate of law and called to bar with over two years experience in Law practice as a legal practitioner also with a masters degree in Management in United Kingdom. We presently have a kid and am 31 years old.
I have researched my eyes out and read everything there is to read. I still can't decide. I think I am even more confused. I need to start the process and also want to know my chances on which one gives us a better chance of getting the PR. For those that have done this before, what is your opinion and how long will the process take as am just about to start.

Thanks

Kindly help a brother!

Hi Bro,

You and your wife have a great profile. I will recommend you try Canada Express Entry.

Regards.

Hello to everyone! Please I am barely new on this forum, I am on a student visa in australia but I and hubby are considering moving to Tasmania on visa 190. He has 17 years banking experience so we are thinking of nominating customer service manager. Please can you advise how possible this is as it's not common to talk about this profession based on my readings so far.
Sir Bellong and all my Oga's, please advise.

You are already on student visa in Australia?
You're better off being the principal applicant as ur study in Aussie means more points..
What are you studying? There should be a related occupation on the list.
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Hephziebah(f): 12:00pm On Jan 07, 2018
Like someone suggested, you might want to try Canada as well, however, in trying Australia, as long as the courses you have studied for your Bachelors and Masters degrees cover the 9 major areas required for assessment and you fulfill the English language requirement, you can be sure of getting a positive assessment. You should check the list of occupations on the DIBP website, decide which of the accounting occupations you would be nominating, then you can apply for assessment with any of the assessing bodies.

Yes, I am already a student but I came in for a diploma of commerce program which would lead to a bachelors (accounting). I am in Melbourne now, just thinking moving to Tasmania could be a shorter route. Thinking aloud though. Pls more input will be highly regarded.

I used someone residing in Kaduna to make it real fast. And it eventually took about 6 weeks. But you can easily go to their office in your state, pay and apply, it takes between 9 and 12 weeks.

Why did you think AITSL would give him positive assessment? Did he study Education at the undergraduate level? Mathematics is not a course under education category. PGDE NTI is not sufficient to earn him positive assessment from AITSL as he does not have underpinning degree in education. And you need at least 1 year experience as Mathematician to get a positive assessment from Vetassess. Don't waste your money on a path that would not get you positive assessment.

Australian Assessing bodies take assessments of overseas qualification very serious than you think. You need at least Bachelor degree in Education from 1st tier Universities from Nigeria to get a positive assessment.

If you have the money, you could try the study option (Teaching/Education).

Hi everyone.

I'm a newbie here.I will like to apply for Australian PR with my 2 children. I will be 31 years by February 2018. I'm an accounting graduate but have never practised because, I became an entrepreneur and business has been good.
But I'm confused because, someone told me that Accountants are accepted in AUS only if I studied it as a 5 yrs course against the normal 4 years or possibly, have a masters degree in Accounting which i don't have. And that I can't apply for a related job in that field.

Please house, can you advise me on the best possible option to take, since PR is what I really want to apply for.

Thank you.

Your Australian BSc in accounting is 15points.
There's extra 5 points u get for having studied there. Another 5 point for at least 1 year of professional work in Aussie.

I honestly don't even understand your moving to Tasmania idea. Do u have a job there ?
Anyways, I'm here and I'm jealous of all the points u can claim. Pls read from page 0. You'd see how to start the entire process with u as the principal applicant. Customer service manager occupation is only on Tasmania and NT 190 list and I'm almost certain the conditions are hard to meet for someone who isn't already in Aussie..
