quick question, will a pass in mathematics at olevel affect ones chances of selection. you know some art courses do not put emphasis on mathematics.

I think in addition he should not use his WAEC unless it tallies with the sworn affidavit, na to use neco.
That's what disqualified a friend, I like to call "Dundee" he had a golden opportunity to face the board #SSC43 but the idiot refused to tally his age on his credentials (WAEC) vs (Affidavit)even when a certain Corporal pointed it out to him b4 facing the board still the idiot was forming he carries grace and the most annoying thing to the story is he had a Neco result where age wasn't stated and he is living in Kaduna(Barnawa) he would have simply called a relative to bring his result to NDA b4 he faces the board. Unfortunately for the buffoon the first thing one of the board checked was his WAEC where the age there was far more than what was in the affidavit na so the idiot loose the golden opportunity to become an officer and the worst thing is that after medicals only 7 was left in his state, in other words he was sure of a spot.
As the idiot they use him mouth they talk am I felt like swearing for him, but again e no concern me, till today even zonal shortlisting computer no de pick him name.
sir, I am in Lag I am willing to come at my own expense if you would permit me to come sir. I am really interested in knowing more. About military and know how much I will prepare for the next enlistment sir.

the military is very smart now. I will advice u go for the one u qualify for and don't fake anytin. Military now demand candidate's National ID so to verify the candidate's real age, Nationality etc. Years back, Nig Army enlisted Some non'Nigerian from nearby countries unknown to the Army. U know u can't fake National ID. It's biometric. So guy do what is good. I beliv if God wants u there u will be there. I have so many things I'd love to tell u about screening exercise and life in the military as a recruit, a cadet and as an officers. But I can't do it here. If u are in ABJ come to Abacha barracks make I show u a diff world. I will pay ur tp if u come.

Someone in this forum once asked how the shortlisted candidates for board interview without exams.
I answered that the shortlistment is computerized.

Another person asked if computer shortlists names, how do the guys with long leg aka godfathers got their names shortlisted by the computer. How does the computer gets to know them and shortlist their names.

I have been avoiding this question but one mallam has been disturbing my line wanting the anwers so i will drop the answer soon..

Just watched a clip on NTA on Nigerian troops in Sambisa men if you see the barrage of fire from one of the technicals, goshhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!. na him person one convince me say war no sweet. With what I saw the thing sweet die!!! no be movie this was live clip from the fronts.
lest I 4get Oga GenAnsahCinC, those guys in the fronts to they pay for their own kits?? because some units are more kitted(helmet mounted Night vision googles, Tarvor series, Ak74s, etc) just like American soldiers from head 2 toe, unlike the ones we know that wear just bullet proof and helmet.
Re: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by GenAnsahCinC: 12:16pm On Jan 09, 2018
Let me use Army for example.

Lets say Army wants to recruit 50 boys into the system this year.
Before the form comes out, the will give out slots to the important personalities in the country. Lets say give out 20slots.
Those oga at the top will submits their boys paticulars then the will now program the computer to shortlist 30 candidates since 20 candidates have been submitted already. When computer randomly picked 30 qualified candidates. The will then add the 30 candidates to the 20 specail candidates making it 50 candidates the published the 50 names on the news paper.

If u observed. Some boys name will not be on the first shortlistment but will later appear on the final list. That means their oga did not submit their names on time.

Also sometimes if u are lucky to be selected. When u assume training, u will see some faces of some guys that u never saw during board interview. Those guys long leg strong ooo.

I remember a boy that join up training 3months into the training. He never appeared for board interview.
But he died during training and later we heared he was not medically fit..

Have I answered that question?
