Are Ethiopians blacks or Arabs...I see different colours on the internet. Are they predominantly muslims? what's the major religion of the people? How's their hospitality? Is it wise to migrate to Ethiopia? Job opportunities??
What's the culture like? Beliefs and traditions?
Do they inter marry?

Eyimofe2017:

Ethiopians are very diverse, but none of them are Arabs. Concerning their skin, majority of them are Blacks and Brown, while few are light (keep in mind that Black is a color, not a race).

Eyimofe2017:

Ethiopians are predominantly Christian. The Muslims are about 35% of the population. Most of the Christians are followers of the Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, while the other few are Protestants and there are also insignificant Catholics.

Eyimofe2017:

How's their hospitality?
In general, Ethiopians are very hospitable to others. But there are few bad fruits just like there is in any society.

Eyimofe2017:

Is it wise to migrate to Ethiopia? Job opportunities??
Job opportunity in Ethiopia is very frustrating. The economy is growing, but the job opportunity rate as a result of it is less than the rate of student graduating. This makes it difficult even for the Ethiopians to find jobs. So, I won't simply tell you to come here to live. What is best is for you to research on jobs here from where you are and if you are sure that you will get a job, then you can come without no worries.

But you can easily visit Ethiopia any time you want. There is rich history and cultures to visit. By the way, Ethiopia has more than 9 UNESCO World Heritage Sites (more number than any other African country). The country is very peaceful even if there are some levels of tension in some areas.

Eyimofe2017:

What's the culture like? Beliefs and traditions?
It's rich and diverse. The legend of Queen of Sheba is very important for Ethiopian Orthodox Christians.

Eyimofe2017:

Do they inter marry?
Ethiopians are very diverse like I said, so the acceptance of intermarriage differs from ppl to ppl.

Shashamane is a Rastafarian town that is found in present day Oromia region. I've never been in southern Ethiopia, but there is a road that connection this town with Moyale, so the ppl in the border can help you. The ppl in it are Rasta Jamaicans who were given the area by emperor Haileselassie and also Amhara, Oromo and few others. The town is in the Highland, so the climate is good. The coast of living might be less price than Addis and this is good. Sorry I never been there, so I don't have further or detail info.

The boarder between South Sudan and Ethiopia is unsafe, so I think you need to look via another root. Ethiopian visa is easy to get; especially if it's a tourist one, so just come here via Airplane. Or if road is your best option, came only via Moyale. Kenyans can come to to Ethiopia via moyale without a visa and vice verse. Maybe try to disguise yourself as Kenyan or just make it legally as a Nigerian.

I've seen a documentary in which non-Kenyan getting to Ethiopia legally via Moyale, so you will definitely get the visa there. I don't know if it's quick to get there or not though.

I don't think they understand pidgin, but few of them might do. Most Ethiopians don't even understand normal English well.
