so...you mean, being a lecturer's/professor child would set person free from being flawless
what course was he/she applying for??(cause it depends)

if the prof's child/ward attended the tutorial and still score below 55....he/she must be a real dullard like Nigerian government.

Hmm..
Because someone fails UI POST UTME doesn't make him/her a DULLARD!!! , there are many factors that could lead to that..

It's just a pity that schools admission list has not been published.

U see!
So regarding this ELDS stuff, I once gave an elaborate explanation how it works somewhere but some people were so quick to throw rebuttal.

The truth is that most of us commenting on this does not know that ELDS does not work the way we erroneously think.

U can meet ur ELDS cutoff and still not getting admission!
Reason being that it's only one candidate is picked in each ELDS state.
They pick the candidate with the highest score among his mates.

Illustration

Five candidates from kogi state which is considered ELDS state choose unibadan.
Their scores breakdown.
Candidate A: 63

Candidate B: 64.

Candidate C: 62

Candidate D: 65

Candidate E: 64

ELDS cutoff now pegged at 62.
From d above, it's very obvious that they all meet cutoff but putting into consideration the limited slots to fill, all will not be admitted rather the one with the highest score will be picked over others. That's Primus inter pares(First among equals) grin

From the above scenario, CANDIDATE D only will be picked in kogi state even though they all meet ELDS cutoff.

To the best of my knowledge and from info I could gather, this is how the stuff works..

Thanks.

You can just use the printed one for clearance, but if you want to get your original waec result, you can visit the school you did it or go to waec office.

Congrats on your admission.

Hmm..
why peg the cut off at that particular score when all the people that met or passed the cut off won't be admitted..

or is not by merit anymore?

..Many states make ELDS, cutoff for each state cant be set. XO state with d lowest E cutoff will b d cutoff for ELDS.
