rider used fake credit card. Uber couldn't charge from the card.
Not just fake credit or debit cards STOLEN cards are used on uber, unilag people and others...
Uber faced a lot of claim from several financial institutions... I fear Lagos people

OK no problem, once beaten twice shy, hence forth, I will begin to ask my riders CARD TRIP OR CASH TRIP if it is card trip, no problem I will embark on the journey, but if it is a card trip, will say sorry request for another uber driver, simple, I will just cancel

Noooo, uber will block u for excessive cancellation, don't let ur cancelation rate exceed 25% just be careful and don't arrange trips, carry riders randomly...

Wats d essence of 25% Uber is collecting?

Do they expect driver/partner to do their job for them?

If you can’t verify your rider, pay the driver simple

I think Uber needs to be taken up on this b4 drivers will be loosing hell of money

Uber link drivers up with riders...charge is 25% we can't do anything about this...tnx to TAXIFY they make the market competitive, no more monopoly, we have alternatives,as a wise driver be on both platform (UBER AND TAXIFY)...

Uber server/network had issues today,
many drivers didn't get request for over 6 hours, drivers experiencing this should switch to taxify...

Correct.
I received request consistently this morning until around 11:30am. Then nothing again for another 45mins after changing location. I just go offline on Uber straight.

@Ogunvic41

Drivers driving peoples car are given more consideration than the car owners driving by uber
So it is very easy for ur drivers to make cool money at a short period of time

I messaged again

Bros, go and change ur phone, the problem is from ur GPS. I had the same experience last week, they chop more than 7k of my last week earning, I had to stop driving and off to their office. And what they told me was to change my phone which I did and this week is perfect Though, am still waiting for them to refund d shortfall, or I take legal action against them cos they ended up deducting their 25% even after I wasted my fuel for pickup & dropoff and paid me nothing.

Brothers pls assist a brother here. My drivers license expired on Monday and I was able to renew it on same day. Though I was given a temporary one same day because I paid for express service. I have been trying to upload since Monday but uber kept rejecting it that it doesn't match the information on the previous expired one.
So I went to uber office today. The lady took picture of both licence and told me that I will be activated today. Yet unable to go online.

Has anyone experienced this? Kindly advice. Thank you.

That's the best Taxify could do. The both parties have their disadvantages.

This is not a phone or GPS problem, I got money from other riders
Its a rider fraud that was detected

That's your problem.
Change device.
Your GPS is faulty and will continue to record false movement.
Sometimes in your favor. Other times, in the riders favor.

See my guy the best way out of this is : open Google map at the background leave it to run then lunch ur uber app, when asked for navigation, choose google map simple logic

Don't argue sir. Learn.
It's your phone GPS that's faulty.

Observe the trip details, you will notice abnormal linear motion.
That's what the Uber robots detects and flag the account.

Read the community guidelines again. Cheers.

Hello guys. My ratify has been calculating distance wrongly..

The first pic here wasn't up to 4km..from abulegba to within abulegba..

2nd scenario, shoprite Ikeja to oando after lekki elegushi side.. Christ embassy.. The original distance should be around 38km and my ratify app recorded 58km..

Although I use infinix note 2, it's already upgraded to the recommended Android 6 marshmallow..
.any explanations for this, and what's the way out.
