In a bid to urge Nigerian husbands to help their wives with house chores, this couple have got themselves trending online. According to the trending post which encourages men to assist their partners, the stress women undergo in their homes - make some of them look older than their age.

Many women look 3 times older than their age because of stress and exhaustion. We marry them and then turn them into maids. You seat down in front of the TV with your phone and watch your wife work until she's about to pass out and just before she sleeps, you still want sex. Seriously, are you kidding me. Don't you see you are wicked?

As a man, who told you that it is wrong to wash dishes? Who told you that it is wrong to dress a bed? And there's this twisted view of marriage that has led to an increase in domestic violence where they'll see a man cooking and they be like "Guy, you need to get married so you can stop cooking". Let me tell you, don't marry a woman to clean or cook for you but marry to assist, love, cherish and enjoy each other.

It's good if a man helps at home, especially in the kitchen but you should first of all ask yourself "what does this man do for a living". Some jobs allow a man to help at home, others don't. Likewise women, some jobs allow them to cook most times, others don't so do exactly what works for you. My aunt isn't comfortable with a man in her kitchen, I tried to help her once and she allowed me the first day because I was new in the house. Tried it the second day and she refused. She won't even allow her own husband to get his own food so this is total rubbish to her.

While helping your wife isn't a bad idea, there's a general consensus that men go to work to provide and women stay at home to cater. Someone has to go to work, whether husband or wife, same way someone has to be in charge of taking care of the home.
