360frolic: Ofcourse, we all know NPF has always been reckless with properties in their care. Looks like this week (month) is exclusively for air plane reportage powered by Sahara Reporter. From Pastor Adeboye to Oyedebo now NPF. I just hope Sahara Reporters have not resorted to petty news like naij.com and relegated themselves to 'mere' puerile bloggers. 2 Likes |

Day169: Why are you so complacent? Did Buhari and APC not promise to change everything, including the revival of Nigeria Airways by stopping to use the presidential jets and transfer them to the revived airlines? Why do we find it difficult to persistently hold our public servants accountable |

Wow that is a Cessna Citation Bravo, just wasting away in the African sun. Probably it was due for a major air-frame "C" Check, and somebody decided that it would be cheaper to scrap the bird in place. I would love to buy that plane and cut the cockpit section off to install as a serious upgrade to my home flight simulator. If my eyes don't deceive me, there is also a 1950's era Schweizer helicopter in that hanger in the back ground. How such a bird, originally designed by the Swiss for mountain rescue, could wind up in deepest Africa, is a true mystery. I would love to gain access to all the places in Nigeria where abandoned aircraft lie in ruins, and maybe get a chance to bid on a plane or two, before the scrap aluminium dealers show up with their cutting tools. |

Please what are they doing with a jet in the first place. |
Re: Nigerian Police Jet Rots Away In Lagos (Photos) by slimfit1(m): 1:56pm On Feb 06, 2018 |
Buying a jet is cheap if it brakes down you can just park anywhere and fix the problem. Let everybody know I have a jet syndrome. Black man's poor way of thinking. |

Re: Nigerian Police Jet Rots Away In Lagos (Photos) by tdayof(m): 2:20pm On Feb 06, 2018 |
Jakumo:Both Cessna citation alpha and 2(bravos) were being used by NPF. The airframe is due so hence retirement. The life cycle is complete already. My advice, don't bead for a used plane here in Nigeria. I'll rather go meet some airline companies and bid for their retired aircrafts. At MMIA, there's this 787 operated by Arik. It'd just there to rot. |
