has the inventor tried PATENTING this product?
The guys viewing here are thieves, after a lot of castigations you will find a refined (or even just a replica) form of this product in the market next week!
Seriously, the inventor should try patent office ASAP.

always open to improvement, more so, we don't know if the inner part is coated with insulating materials. about the distance between the "flake" and pot, considering the cooker doesn't have a means of regulating the heat, the distance is not a bad idea, to prevent excess heat (excess heat burns food from the bottom of pot early before proper cooking). the distance can also prevent excess smoke.

even if you are cooking with a gas cooker, heat will be lost to the environment, as long as the useful % is significantly more than the % of heat lost. then the system is OK.
Oga that "cooker" is just too inefficient. The losses is way too much. The design alone highlights the inefficiency that even an armchair engineer could tell.Thermodynamics tells us no system is 100% efficient but most systems efficiency exceed 90%.This "cooker's" inefficiency is way below that.

Somebody somewhere would be in a hurry to type mediocreangry

Forgetting that firewoods are still top sellers in our own country undecided

That's one of the reasons we have refused to leave this elementary economic stage lipsrsealed

Instead of us to industrialize our country according to our strengths and raw materials.

We prefer to carelessly compare ourselves to the technological achievements of those that have gone beyond our stage eons ago sad

And type 'mediocre' while giving nothing significant to the country's advancement angry

There is cooking gas and there are small cooking gas cylinders. Cooking gas is cleaner, safer and all around a better choice than firewood.

The stove is not only mediocre, it is backward. Someone will be in some tiny space breathing in fumes and reducing his /her lifespan.

True. The thermodynamics is just off due to heat losses between the body of the container and the environment which will be made worse by the distance between the flame and the pot. It would be better if the entire body is insulated, and the space between where the wood burns and the pot needs to be reduced
your type will never attempt to do anything meaningful but go about criticizing others who at least are trying.

Now clap for your self and gerrarahere before I sand you there

Very in efficient , I can already pin point 12 areas where energy will be lost which means that you will have to use more firewood to achieve little and for someone like me whobisbpro conservation Its a big no ...we are looking for technologies that will reduce the usage of wood as a fuel and not one that encourage the use of more wood set . .Like I say in situations like this this is beautiful nonsense

I see many critics here. As na naija person, we go give am thumb down. But people forget say even oyinbo started like this. Let us just assumed this na version 1.0. By the time the next 3-4 upgrades go come, it might just be perfect.

So encouraged whoever made this, mediocre or not.

This one will finish our trees and put our environment at risk.

Get alternatives to firewood cos the tree is doing more than enough for already and do not deserve this kind of treatment from us.

Plant a tree and save our environment

The fact be said, this ain't invention.
Who's gonna cook with this? Something your family members won't even buy not to talk about taking it to market. Even those people who cook with 3 stones and firewood will prefer to stick to it rather than use this thing that looks like a grinding machine.
The aim of invention is to move forward, not move backward or static

The first car was a steam engine, and modifications were made with time,

Same with the first aerocraft, ship, etc...

We all can still remember Nokia 3310 can't we,
Can you compare it with what we have today?

so if you feel your engineering ingenuity is to only analyse and criticise inventions, then you are part of Nigeria's problem.

Brother/Sister show me what you have invented so far or simply improve on what the lad has done with his tactical and technical strength.

Plenty theory, no practical. That's the Nigeria experience, why not invent a better one or improve on this?
There's nothing to improve on this one. The inventor did not consult a single engineer or read any book before creating this.
I know, because if he did, it CANNOT be this shape. The shape is completely inefficient with waste of materials. The most efficient shape is a box.

You want to buy experiment for your village people, not for yourself? So that when the thing scatter for their house, you no go dey abi? Give people gifts that are tried and tested. Or even same type you have.

10,000 years ago, when Oyibo started their own, it was never this shape. You know very well that Oyibos know how to draw, design, calculate and document. You have internet, you have books to read. Stove design is never this fanciful. But Bros ignored all historic information and is expecting us to clap for him. Has even him tested it?

Like he just finished and painted it yesterday, next thing snap picture sharp-aharp and broad cast on social media.

Let him humble himself and receive the criticism he was avoiding by not Reading a singe book before design

And you think insulating the system is the best? Can combustion take place without enough oxygen.
The issue I see with his invention is the effect to our environment. The release of CO2

But now you have classified it as mediocrity.

One of the reason Nigeria will never get better. Too much hatred
