We made the switch of questechie.com from http to https on December 20, 2017 and despite Google assurance that the switch would not negatively impact traffic, we observed a drastic reduction in organic traffic. But 3 months aftwards things are beginning to settle back to normal. What's your own experience?

Someone shared a very serious issue with switching to https, that he lost tones of traffic and even after 4 months it never regained lost traffic. So much so, that he needed to revert to http. What's your take on it?

Glad that no back link was lost, but it seems site may lose some ranking factors, other than link. Any firsthand experience?

I did a switch to https, my traffic deduced from a whooping 25,000 dailyviews to 7,000 views per day. Its close to a month but its beginning to stabilize too. Bit by bit though.

Hi, the first thing I noticed on your website is how blurry your logo is on the page. You can get a better one, with an accompanying favicon.

I believe the changes should'nt affect the website.

Probably from where you bought the SSL cert.

What does favicon has to do with his traffic? Favicon does not improve SEO or drive traffic, does it?
