Going to the police station of your host country for fare back home is wrong. Gross mistake.

That is the duty of the nigerian embassy. Although most Nigerian embassies are useless. They ignore Nigerian Citizens and turn their backs on them. But yet it is so wrong to have gone to the police station for such help.

The good think about Kenyan prisons is that by the end of his sentence, he will have learnt a trade - carpentry, metal work, etc He'll come out a better person

You dont know if all of them are guilty. Some could be framed, some could be wrongfully imprisoned. No be everybody wey dey prison be bad person.

There is something about this story that doesn't add up. So 16 Nigerians cannot afford 32,000? That's about 2,000 per person? Why can't the nigerian students studying in Kenya fundaraise for them? They need the government for this?

Furthermore, you cannot be taken to prison for going to the police station; the most they can do is to take you to the Cells and later to the courts within 24 hours, or the next weekday (If arrested on Friday or weekend.)

Who would put Nigerian criminals in a decent prison ? In-fact we shall petition our government to send them to the Maasai Mara to live with warthogs. We can keep pigs in those buildings instead.

I won't support their deeds but to be candid, I had a layover of 10hrs en route Lagos earlier this month in Nairobi and I chatted with some Kenyans and what they told me about Nigerians living in Kenya baffled me. They said this categorically that some Nigerians are committing series of crime in Nairobi which is not limited to fraud.

there is a whatsapp video going round where three nigerians were stopped on the nakuru highway and in their car three ak47 were found....the last thing that could be heard of them was them begging the police not to kill them but to deport them back to nigeria....our able police shot them point blank each of them four bullets to the head.i really love our police.let them be labelled the worst of the lot but im sure they will finish all these useless nigerians in kenya.
