So I got the golden mail today after a wait period of 5 months and 23 days. Truly it is not a journey for the faint-hearted. I have been worried, scared, tired, hopeful, hopeless and even prepared my mind for the worst ... I would come to this thread to give myself hope and stay away sometimes not to get my hopes up...

Where I wan start, na the IELTS abi na international police clearance...abi na WES wahala...then I got to NA2, got moved to LVO and stayed there forever. Let me also say over the last few days I got a few mails from LVO, also ADR and I got super worried.

A big thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey so far.....and more importantly I give God all the glory.

They wanted copies of current passports datapages for the entire family..I had renewed my passport and my kids also have dual citizenship/passports so I'm not quite sure what they wanted

Has anyone collected his/her transcript from FUTA after the strike? I made payment for the past two months and ( the payment) was confirmed immediately, but was put on hold since then till now.

I also need books to read for my IELTS Exams.

God is awesome! Been waiting for this day since forever. It is not PPR but it is golden to me. Received my IELTS EOR just now and goodnews it is.

Applied for EOR in writing module on the 27th November. Writing got upgraded from 6 to 7. The wait was killing me but the joy in my heart has overshadowed it. Don't mind my Epistle.

Anybody know if stanbic gives a letter stating total investments (Treasury bill) apart from treasury bill certificate ? As a matter of fact does Stanbic even write you a letter addressed to CIC with respect to this express entry ? Any experiences ?

They do. But they use their own format and you pay for it, about N500.

I use prepaid meter, I opened my bank account in school, rent agreement has my sister's name. Who else has done this?

Different banks, driver's license, etc. Read the FAQ for additional proof of address.

So we left newjersey at 6am despite the storm alert...was snowing badly..got to jfk ard 8am...flight was delayed by an hour..boarded the flight...we were d last to board...we boarded and had to sit in d plane for over an hour to de-ice the engine...we ascended ard 11am as against 9am...flight was ok as it was a domestic flight....landed in toronto...scanned our docs....went to immigration got our sin...all dis within 30mins and we were done.luggage's were not checked.waka starts tomoro

If yes will it earn me points?
I read from this trend that ICAN ACA can evaluated and I also confirm that MDCN can also be done.

Except you have a PhD, your Masters should earn you enough points. I don't think WES positively evaluates COREN cert.

Not advisable..What then happens if you both get ITA at the same time. I'll advice you stick to one profile..

Yes. There are peeps who have done that in here. You cancel the other if one goes through. But why not just put the one with the max score in there instead?

Thanks for response. The one with the lower score has PNP and so got additional 600 points but restricted on province. The other profile has a higher score without PNP, and has a fair chance of ITA without provincial restrictions.

Interesting scenario..since you have sometime to accept PNP...you can use that time to stall and see if ITA on the other profile is forthcoming...if its not..abeg grab that PNP

Thanks. Actually, the consultant already accepted the PNP - we expect to receive upcoming ITA. The other profile is yet to be created. IELTS is pending.
