You really need a big savings bro as this is not a thounsand investment. However, you will not be spending all the 'fees' all at once, its at different stages.

The big cash you will be spending at once at the Visa fee, which will cost you about AUD9000 (N2.6M)

https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189-?modal=pricing-estimator

Flight cost should be about N1.7M (family of 6)

English that you are yet to do (PTE costs 52K, IELTS costs 68k for now). PM me for me details on this.

Assessment roughly costs betwee 700-1000 AUD

Start your savings now!!!

N;B: Please don't go again sir, as you may increase your family size to 8 wink wink

Hmmm This is not a small investment
I have Bsc Accounting
I have 12 years banking experience

Hubby is self employed
He has HND Bio chemistry

Please what are oh chances

If you have the plan to seek for South Australia's nomination, the time to do it is now.

The Liberal party has won the state's election yesterday after 16years of Labour party's domination. It is not uncommon for Liberals to blame immigrants for every problem facing their jurisdiction. Therefore, it will not be long before the state's nomination list is revisited.

When do they get sworn in? God let this TRA hurry up and answer me.week 9!

Do you both have the following so we can advice who to be the principal applicant?

Age < 39 years
Ability to score high in English 10 or 20 points ( find out)
BSc is 15points, HND is 10 points. You already have 15points.
Experience ( you'll get 15 points assessment ). 8- 10 years gives 15 points. You are good to assess with CPA ( Certified Accountants Australia).

You didn't state your hubby's occupation but with what I'm seeing, you should try to be the principal applicant but must be ready to score very high say 85 so as to get a quick ITA as an accountant.

Read from page 0 to 2 of this thread. When you finish doing that you should be able to know how to proceed. If not still clear, you can ask some questions.

You don't need to have a job offer for Tasmania regional nomination (489). However, your occupation need to be on their list to be successful. The duration for approval varies from case to case. Less than 3 weeks for some and others stayed for a month plus.

To God alone be all the glory for He has filled my heart with great joy. I woke up this morning to receive a mail from skillselect containing an ITA for visa sub class 190 through NSW nomination.
I had to tell my wife to tap me to be very sure I wasn’t dreaming. Wow! It was real. Certainly with God all things are possible.
I have been a silent and ardent reader of this forum and benefited immensely from those who started the race before me through their advice and comments based on their personal experience and based on those who have asked questions. I didn’t have to ask any further questions because all I needed to ask had been asked and dealt with. I’m writing this to encourage those out there who are about to start this race and those in the middle of the race that surely we will all finish this race successfully.

Here is my timeline;
IELTS (L7.0 S6.5 R7.5 W7.0) - 07/01/2017
Lodged Skill assessment – 09/11/2017
EA assessment outcome (Professional Engineer) – 01/12/2017
PTE (L68 S69 W 82 R 80) – 09/01/2018
Lodged EOI with 70points (subclass 190 - NSW) – 12/01/2018
Invitation to apply for state nomination (NSW) – 02/03/2018
Lodged application – 12/03/2018
State nomination Application Approved – 19/03/2018
ITA from skillselect – 19/03/2018

This short write up will not be complete without appreciating the founding father of this great forum through which many have achieved their migration dream “Chief Bellong”, you are highly blessed sir.
Alphadoor, zanyzara, mamajaz, spyroxy1 and every other person who have contributed positively to this platform, I say a very big thank you to all.
Ultimately, thank you Jesus for making this a reality for me & family.

Let me first of all give you thumbs up for thinking in this direction, the only thing you don't want to do to yourself is coming to study and just leave just like that. Brother this place is far ooooo and couple with the fact that tuition fees are on the high side. My suggestions is if you can change from MSC petroleum to any course on the skill select, it will be a nice thing to do even if that will make you postpone your entry for next month to a later month or thereabout
