1. Nice Area. It's a stone's throw away from London so it's a big positive. Still a bit of a commute but can be worse.

2. That's a tough one. It's depends on the strength of your relationship really. If shyte hits the fan, it's the person named on the mortgage that would be the main beneficiary of any sale proceeds. Why not wait?

3. I wouldn't bother getting one. That's just me though as I don't think it's worth it. Say for example a couple of years down the line, you get an amazing Job offer up north and you are looking to sell up asap to fund your relocation. The other Guy loves essex and is refusing to sell up. What would you do? The only option you have is to sell your share to Him at a Loss. Is it s it?

4. If you are intending to stay long, Do you really want a service apartment? House or Flat? Depends on the individual. If money was no object, i'd get a Flat. I kind of like my own privacy really.
