You are ignorant! Even car manufacturing giants like Benz and Toyota do not manufacture from raw materials. They get the metal from Iron smelting plants, glass from glass companies and plastics from moulding companies.

You are absolutely 100% correct. No car manufacturer including GMC, FORD, CHRYSLER, DAIMLER BENZ etc make all their car parts and none of them would be able to either. Only a fool would reason otherwise. Think about it, that means they have to have a tire manufacturing plant to make all the various sizes of tires; engine manufacturing plant to make all the different engines for different cars; separate plant to make all the windshields and another for all the mirrors. So it is impossible for any car manufacturer to sustain such a huge operation and it does not happen. All the different parts are sourced out to different manufacturers who then make these parts exclusively for these car makers. So, for those with pea brain that could not reason beyond their hateful rhetoric, keep your ignorance in check!

Don't mind them. To maintain such a plant will require a space as large as an entire state.

I work at volvo trucks..mostly we do are assembly with our oem products..over 100,000 suppliers of different products..we don't produce every bits..our engine parts are manufactured by other divisions in volvo companies and suppliers..companies dont normally make everything..there are many companies involved..
