Niger, also called the Niger officially the Republic of the Niger, is a landlocked country in Western Africa named after the Niger River.

They have 8 regions:
Niamey(capital)
Maradi
Tahoua
Zinder
Agadez
Dosso
Diffa
Gaya

I visited the rural area of Maradi.....it's a village called Kodarogo
This name translated in English simply means "with cassava only" and it got this name when the villagers were digging a well in the village, so famine came and there was severe hunger......the only food remaining as at that time was cassava and so the elders decided that the work should stop since there's no food. But then the youths were saying that even "with cassava only" they can finish the work.

Lemme drop pictures.....
This is the main gate of entering Maradi

Imagine how porous and unmanned the border between a soiled country by fulanis and Niger is . No wonder the Fulani rulers are planning of add railway to make their influx of blood thirsty terrorists into Nigeria about to be conquered .

It seems Niger is a Desert Area.

My Dad used to visit the place a lot when I was a child, and he used to bring back lots of bush meat from there, or is it smoked meat now? I can't remember.

Meanwhile, take a look at my signature, visit the website, and signup today.

Then thank me later smiley
