Awolowo's greatness is very well documented here against the deficiencies of Ibo.

1 - entire Ibo tribe submitted their lives and destiny to him without guarantees.

2 - entire Ibo race submitted their wealth to him in exchange for pennies and refused to sue him or the banks that kept deposits of that wealth.


These two points say a lot about Ibo race and their weakness as a political group.
