Thanks. Mamaiyanu: send an email to your doc and ask if you can still pay the old price. Dr F told me that you can still pay the old price as long as your due date is before June 30.

I totally agree with this, was denied today also. All the VO asked were questions about my workplace, and how much I earn. She went further to ask if I was a durect or contract staff with the organization(an American company). I even presented a letter of introduction from my company, and that was it. Nothing about bank statements, as my husband is listed as sponsor. When I asked why she didn't bother looking at the statement, she said she doesnt need to, and her decision has been made based on the conversation we just had. However, I know someone who got d visa (B2) 2 days ago for childbirth purpose. ozycy:
Why not give it some time since you ain't having the baby soon. I don't think these VO are still giving pregnant women ooo, atleast not like before. Maybe giving birth in US is no longer enough reason to go to US. I think the era where people hide their pregnancy and go for interview will soon return |

Yes, i didn't plan birthing with that visa truly cos i was heavily pregnant when i renewed, the plan was for vacation after i must have delivered here, but cos i was termed high risk patient, after having lost 5 pregnancies, My doctor referred me to a Doctor friend in Arizona, that was how the plan change d and since we could afford the bills, i did letter of intent and that was rhe advice i got from here.
I heard the next available date in lagos is August, which will be like 5months after i was denied cos i will be due in Dec Yes, you can fill your application and book your interview right now and choose a date that's like 6-7months away. So you ll be 6-7months pregnant at the time of your interview. All the best |

Good day, house! I've been a peeping reader, however, I have some few questions, please don't pass me I beg of u, the gurus. I have my visa & would be leaving for the states in June but due in August but DH & I are separated for the time being (we had a serious marital break down when I was barely 3months) story for another day, how do I get or fill consent form for LO's PP? Or is there another way out? Same question applies for a Nigerian PP or the VOA. Won't I be expected to bring d DS-3053 form since I filled him as "Husband" when i applied or can my dad/any relative act as guardian to fill the form & send down? Please, don't pass me by |

Myself and DH were to go for our interview on 25th April, unfortunately 2 weeks before the interview date i was diagnosed of malaria and was admitted in the hospital. After 2 days of administering drugs and injections with drips my water broke and i gave birth at 30 weeks to a pre-m baby with CS despite my EDD of MAY 30. My baby was placed in an incubator while i recuperate, my questions are: 1. Do we still go for the interview? 2. If we must go, do we tell the VO that i have delivered our baby? or 3. Do we still go with the initial plan by telling the VO that we're still going to have our baby? Pls, i need your candid advise, what do we do and is there any way forward. Though, DH is having a rethink |
