Why are they doing this?

Because they've realised most car owners don't know sh!t about their vehicles.

People tend to drop off their rides at the workshop and do not even make out time to supervise General Kazeem. Sensors also get missing or replaced with defective ones if you're not careful.

Not all do that. In fact I can tell you most times they don't. A cat can break into fragments and you'd think they steal it whereas, they know nothing about it.

Change your mechanic if you do patronize thieves.

I heard someone say it can be used to make bullet for local guns, don’t know how true. Pay attention to your cars so when you find out its missing arrest your mechanic or panel beater and watch how they will confess

1. Catalysts are not cheap to purchase. (3 catalytic converters for a 2005 Pilot cost 100k recently)

2. Most car owners can’t and will never be able to tell if their car has a good, bad or even existing catalyst at all.

Can the whole exhaust be changed if you find out your catalyst is missing and you don't want to just replace the catalyst so your exhaust won't have patches that will make it difficult for you to notice once it goes missing again.
