For the connection settings I don't what you mean.. But here is the picture for the wire connection... The 2 wires with subwoofer tag on it is for the small speakers while the remaining 2 Is for the two tall speakers.

At the back of the stolen engine it's has four separate slot for the speakers to be plugged in..

If the DVD engine you're talking about can work with it I'll really appreciate it..

How can one hook a GOTV decoder to a Toshiba 22D1333B?

The TV does not have slots for the composite cable (Yellow, Red and White). It only has a green slot (marked YPbPr) and a yellow slot (marked as Side AV) and a black slot.

I think that particular tv has an hdmi port if it has and you use the new set of gotv decoders with hdmi outputs you can use an hdmi cable to get clearer pictures
