The entry from US into Canada is not illegal, they enter legally and the article above supports that.

The issue is that, that had a different intent in seeking US visa in the first place. While they processed that, they intent to visit the US temporary and come back to Nigeria; their main intent was to transit through US into Canada to seek legal asylum status there. Had they disclose this intent to the US interviewer, their visitors visa would have been denied.

Germany remains number one police country who verifies every supporting document, including bank statement by calling the bank. I love UK too for their thorough verification of documents. The number of visa applicants issued UK , German and US visas each year per country is far more higher than their Canada Counterparts. The record has shown.

Actually America is a far better place in terms of economic opportunities for an immigrant than Canada. Nigerians are just following the bandwagon because the latest trend is to go to Canada, it is tougher to make it in Canada whatever making it means to you than to make it in the US.

Abeg. Self preservation is the a country's president or prime minister's first duty. If or when any of these migrants pose a serious risk to the citizens safety or economy, new laws/measure will be passed within 24 to 48 hours max. They will pull out of any international law. When the individual took a gun into parliament and attempted to kill the prime minister and mp's, new laws/measure were passed within 24 hours if not less. If even one of these migrants seriously harms a police men or commit some sort of terrorism against the Canadian people, watch how fast immigration laws change. International law, UN,etc all those organization is just for show. Any government would override them for self preservation or their country's best interest. Trump's Muslim ban is pure ignorance/racism. But he was successful in banning citizens of certain countries from entering the US. Because his admin used facts.
