But I feel their loss... so painful... and the annoying thing is that a tree that has been standing for 50 years suddenly uproots! Chai! shocked
Is it erosion, or softened ground, or what? Poles I can understand if they rust or the foundation is not deep enough. But tree?

Lessons learned every rainy season: do not park your car near a tree or pole.

It rained ice today in Port Harcourt, the rain was short but very ferocious... never seen its kind in PH before.

personally witnessed d whole tin at rumuola people's roof were uplifted from dia houses poles falling anyhow, fence also jxt thank God no life was lost. Wonder wen we'll have light next

I believe insurance companies have an "acts of God" clause in their agreement which is used to avoid these kind of incidents.

You do not get indemnified.
