After several failed attempts with other browsers, I used EDGE on my system,and I was able to login, you can try it also.

I got the message. It even showed the previous Center I selected when I logged in, I'm having trouble saving the centre.

Correct. Specifically, try clearing your cache or cookies. I just updated mine. Plus if you aren't shortlisted, you will be informed on the site. Good luck to all successful applicants. Interview things now remaining

PTDF applicants are assessed in 6 categories:

1. Research proposal: It must be relevant to O&G industry and national development.
2. Degrees: classes of degree e.g. 1st class, 2.1, 2.2.
3. SOP: To know your motivation, why you want the scholarship and work experience etc (mostly for Masters).
4. Int'l and national awards: To know what you have achieved through academic brillance.
5. Publication: To show your research ability/output (mostly for PhD applicants).
6. Professional membership: To give credence to your profession.

The interview which doesnt last more than 5 minutes is just to show proof of the above and few questions to be asked with regards to proposal/SOP.

How do you explain someone that had ask the requirements yet was not shortlisted

I received an email to choose centre. although I am yet to do that after my browser says portal closed.

But my question is: How does this relate to being shortlisted or not? How can one verify such?

These might not be hypothetically factual answers to your question, but I guess it tells you something, right?

I just update my interview center
but I am seriously praying that they should not fix me for the interview b4 18 may because I am having ICAN from 15- 17

This is to eliminate the fear here that if you got the message "You've not been shortlisted for PTDF scholarship" you are not successful.

If you have already chosen your center for exam during your registration earlier, you are most likely to see that message. The message doesn't mean you are out. It means you're not yet shortlisted.

NOBODY has been shortlisted yet until after the interview. If there's a list, it would be on their website, not from trying to log in.

I got the email to update my center for the interview and I did just that. The next time I tried to log in after updating it, I got the message that I've not been shortlisted for the PTDF scholarship, which is funny.

So guys here losing hope, feeling bad and all.. Nothing is sure yet. Just pray about your application if you believe in God and hope to get an invite for interview.

You guys should stop worrying yourselves over nothing. One love. God bless our hustle.

Which implies that EVERY APPLICANT is supposed to have access to the portal for 48 hours. They didn't say ALL SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES.

so if some of us are getting a message "You were not shortlisted" don't you think the glitch is from PTDF or their servers?

You guys should just chill please. I hate to see people worry unnecessarily. Have some faith and be patient. What's yours is yours!

what is difficult to understand here is that some people were sent mails to go and update their centres. upon going to the portal, they were told they were not shortlisted. dont you think flexisaf is having server/error issues

what is really behind the reason of sending someone a mail that he should go and update and on going to do so he was told that he was not shortlisted. what is really the matter

You mean SOP as in standard operating procedure? And what could be wrong with a proposal?

Look into your SOP and proposal (if you are a PhD applicant).

In my own case I can log in on my phone but every other browser says I've not been shortlisted. Even though I'm logged in on my phone plus I can't even find where to choose the centre.
