Why would I use my hard earned money to buy myself a mobile coffin that will somersault 15 times at the sound of a Dangote truck honk?

While I commend his desire and passion to put his hands to work, however I don't and won't celebrate this. And no sensible person should. There is something called excellence and it is simply the quality of going the extra mile. If he could come up with this then he could have come up with something better. Fine he doesnt have the machines and all but atleast he had a hacksaw and file. That's how he was able to cut up the metal. What prevented him from spending extra time on each cut piece filing and sanding it to smoothness and near perfect fit atleast? Let's stop celebrating these stuff and instead encourage these guys to do more. The world is at the jet age already!

Tucked away in Ohanze town near the commercial city of Aba in Abia state is Francis Emmanuel.

This enterprising young Nigerian is in the business of manufacturing automobiles.

Francis Emmanuel has built a brand of car called the EM Emulate.

According to him, the EM Emulate is manufactured using Mate motorcycle engine together with other locally fabricated materials.

Thus far, and largely due to inadequate funding, he has built only one unit of the EM Emulate.

However, here is the interesting part: a unit of the EM Emulate is built with only Eighty thousand naira (N80, 000) !

Indeed, such industry and determination ought to be encouraged. With some encouragement and support, such project has the potential to come out much better.

Francis Emmanuel runs a company called EM Automobile.

I really appreciate his work in his automobile design. What he needs is an investor so he can live up to his dreams. Those complains and insults about his car is not needed. If you follow up history with the inventions of what we now use today,it started like this.Bright minds with bright ideas. How many of you have ever fabricated a spoon or plate? You will appreciate his efforts when you you build something and know the time, money and effort needed. If he gets an investor,he is going to do great. Most breakthroughs in Harvard,MIT,do you think massive money was not invested in those breakthroughs?Lets encourage creativity and avoid negativity so that the positivity will encourage the creativity of bright minds here in Nigeria. As we speak i am working on creating a fuel-less generator, free energy using your water borehole. This ideas and ideas of others can be encouraged with positive encouragements.

your comment isn't funny at all instead it tells of how negro-like your thinking is.
No one is asking you to buy it, but u should have said, " good product but, he should have made it this way or that way, increase this or reduce that, look this way or that way so we can have a better product" you think benz got to where they are today without support from their people?

Funny thing is, most of these Niggas trashtalking the project are just low-life dumb f**ks who can't reason past their parents pockets, out here rambling shii instead of embracing the concept behind the whole thing (making it up from motorcycle engines) and asking yourselves reasonable questions, your myopic brains wouldn't take you past what it looks like. Someone talked about the world moving past this, sure you know Nigeria isn't part of the "world"... The so called car-producing companies we claim we got are actually more of " alignment " zones... And maybe someone here would tryna make jokes off this defence, feel free to knock yourself out while people with ideas move on to greater things... wink
