not necessarily poor midfield,but I did say they lack a very good attacking midfielder.I don't trust pogba he is too inconsistent, payet would have been the best fit but he had a reoccurrence of his muscle injury which ruled him out.the squad has an abundance of defensive midfielders what they lack is a midfielder in the class of ozil,coutinho or fabregas.
