Yes, Ortom is the governor of Benue. But we all know that he (and every governor for that matter) is powerless to act or confront armed killers because every armed security force is directly under the control of the president.
The security lapses and deaths recorded in Benue and other states in the middle belt are directly due to the shortcomings in our political set up and the president's incompetence.
Moves to set up armed vigilantes by states are deemed illegal. The next option is to adopt the setting up of state police. There are certain demerits to this latter suggestion, I must admit. No doubt that state governors will use them as his personal army to torment perceived opponents.

6). Successful applicants will be communicated by the Mission-University Scholarship Management Board with letters of award for the Scholarship that will last for the period of course of studies.
