Yes o. I actually started some cut out today. Re-balancing my portfolio.

I have to stick to my plans to have a higher cash to stock ratio by July. If I have to leave some stocks.

I'm still heavy on stocks right now.

Still on the tier 2 banks:

I am recovering my losses with Diamond Bank and making profit with sterling bank.

What ever happens tomorrow by 2:30pm will tell if my gamble on Diamond Bank still holds water.

God bless Mpeace and his funny stocks that give 100% in due season.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by lmm4real: 5:49pm On Jun 06, 2018
Enterd diamond two weeks ago at 1.50k, ran out last week at 1.2k. Enterd today again at 1.51k and it closed at 1.62. If this is not bull, then what is.

Those funny stocks help to cure quick fingers.
You make a loss only when you sell short of what you buy.
If stanbic nominees did not sell everything they had, (despite having inside info about the result) why should I sell.

NSE is not for the faint hearted. I am so happy that I stuck to my guts on fidelity by averaging down, totally distorted the weight of my portfolio....At a point I was seating on a loss of over N1m on fidelity alone. Magic of NSE is that in 2 days only this loss has disappeared....Now to cash in on some profits...

MARKET TODAY EXTREMELY BULLISH- LIKELY TO CONTINUE TO ABOUT MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK (BUT DON'T FORGET TO SELL YOUR LAGGARDS)

Today's performance was the best for a portfolio like mine. I foresee some people now going to get cash for the market. So the heard will come (no need to start worrying yet).

For us who are serious about the market, time to sell those stock that will probably give us headache in the future. For me top on my kicking out list is Dangote flour if per chance it gets to NGN12.50 or any time it start showing some symptom that bears will catch up with it, I am out of it for good till about April 2019 when I will check the stock again.

Caution: Not investment advice for educational purpose and my personal opinion only.

You are about to go on a sabbatical leave of absence finally. Dont be deceived by the analysis paralysis here.

Dangote flour's AGM is on 27th of this month. 20days time. An announcement will be made on that day. After that announcement, you are going to price DF for #20 per unit.

Disclosure: bought a little unit on monday and have not been able to get since then.

This bear season taught me that you can make money both during bull season and bear season.

Also got burnt trying to change my investment style. Had to revert to my old way asap.
