lol. Experience is the best teacher. Don't mind the ignorant nairalanders, when one has been poor throughout one's life, there is no much shame but if you have been very rich and turn poor overnight, the shame would be too much especially if you were a popular rich person. Showing yourself in public is shameful and dealing with your still rich friends who would snub you in public as if they didn't see you is devastating. I know this because I have gone through it but when you get back on your feet, they will come back, some apologising, some feigning ignorance of how they treated you badly. Don't accept them back.
