A new 6-month visa will be introduced for job seekers who overstayed their visa but wish to work in the country. The temporary visa enhances the UAE’s position as a land of opportunities and a destination for talents and professionals.
As for Individuals who entered the UAE illegally, they will have the chance to leave voluntarily with a "no entry" stamp for two years given that they provide a valid return ticket.
Equally, in a step aimed at simplifying the process and easing the financial burden on individuals wishing to adjust or renew their visa, they can now do so for a fee without having to leave and re-enter the country.

The new immigration law means that 'Persons in Dubai already will have the option of doing a 6 months job and go not necessarily mean 2 years. and if the 6 months expires, He/She can renew without exiting for another 6 months. This was borne out of flexibility and necessity for UAE to not lose Nationals who are already productive to the Country under the guise of exiting to go effect Visa Change'. I'm sure they'll extend it to Nigerians.

Meanwhile know that this is subject to Nationals which have not been stated clearly. We hope and wise it gets to Nigeria Nationals over there too.

Pay attention to "job seekers", from my understanding this is for those who wish to extent their stay in order to secure a job. It wasn't stated that the option of doing a six month job was open, instead, the six months period is to afford you enough time to job hunt, this i believe was borne out of the realization that the likes of America and Co developed sequel to contributions by other nationals and to exonerate the poise of the UAE as a land of opportunities. What we don't know yet is whether certain countries will be exempted from enjoying this privilege. Kindly share with me how you arrived at your conclusion so I can learn. Kind regards

Your visa will come out the next day when I did mine it came out the next day, go to the embassy ask them the question and tell when your visa is expiring the will be in the best position to answer,

....hi guy if u love your self please b on d bus and be in d embassy on Tuesday ok and go complain to the reception that your visa will expire soon OK. cos if u wait till biometric day they give u it might be bitter at the end if the day ooooo. I talk my own and I can see people crying when their visas expired when they tell them at the embassy. cos u can't have your visa on the biometric day . crowd too much .ok
