ChrisKels:

Its a lie, thats just like saying Chriskels was the first guy that started clamoring for the German guys.

We all clamored for Tyrone, Aina, Odubajo and Ehizibue when we had a problematic RB. No one did it first or alone because that problem was obvious and we needed urgent solution to it.

Which time you start to dey follow and clamour for Nigeria players in Germany?

Do you know Sam? Tell me about him.

Do you know Chinedu? Tell me about him.

If you know then I know you have been on ground for long in regards to German Nigerian players.

Concerning Ebuehi, Ehizibue, Brian and Odubajo, I still remember the resistance, arguments, insults, fights confrontations, etcetera I received here because of these foreign born players.

Majority here never knew dis lads neither did dey clamoured for dis lads when dey were made known here. Infact, they wanted Shehu to continue the good 'job'

It is now people wan Ebuehi wen dem see better soup. If dem come see Ehizibue, not to talk of Odubajo, wetin go happen?

How did their victory come about?was it not a fluke goal and a soft penalty they won the game with? Do you know how heavily critical the French public are of this present team and manager?
Pogba is under heavy fire from the French media for the limp performance against Australia. Bros, let's not derail this thread.

its disappointing that you are saying this. if the boy has a bad game let us say he had a bad game. if he was injured and not match fit let us say so. you know he was injured.you always claim to be a footballer yet look at what you are saying just to take cheap pot shots at the young boy.i like ebuehi but recently after the england friendly i became indifferent as to who starts between him and shehu. it was i and bengine who also said he plays football that defended ebuehi here when many came for his head after the serbia match telling them how long a groin injury takes to heal and he was proven right when ebuehi's club came out to say that they were afraid that he would not make the WC squad because he was just recovering from the groin injury he sustained two weeks before the match against serbia. yes, he underperformed but you cannot say that the injury is a nice excuse.

you are obviously denying the facts and deliberately suppressing the truth just to make your points and its not cool yet you claim to be a footballer or one who played the game beyond our normal backyard monkey post.not good bo, not good at all

I keep saying these two German fullbacks are taking big risks... Leaving Boateng and Hummels almost every time to face those Mexican counters is risky.

Why can't one fullback stay back a bit while the other attack... Na wa ooo...

And Mexico blowing their chances... They better hope it doesn't come back to haunt them. Germany has not lost since 2010 in the world cup (last loss was in the semis to Spain). Mexico wanna end that.

My fellow eagulians.

It's very obvious we don't deserve to qualify from our group.

The passion we lacked against Croatia can't suddenly return against Iceland. For where!!!

Right now, pinnick should start scouting for the right coaches for all our age-grade teams to try and revamp our football.

Some players have obviously overstayed their welcome in our team. The mentality of sure first team shirt led us to this quagmire we currently find ourselves.

Because "some big boys" were assured of first team shirt, these guys refused to improve on their game. It showed in their shambolic displays both for club and country.

Now, that evil small demon we allowed to fester has come back to bite us in the ass.

It's now obvious our boys forgot the reason they went to Russia.

They thought football was played only on the skin (via fashion) and on the virtual pages of social media. When other serious countries were trying to improve, our boys were increasing social media presence. If I were Rohr, it will be banned forthwith.

Rohr, Rohr, Rohr...

I was actually toying with the idea this morning that you may be suffering from early onset Alzheimer's.

You seem to forget so quickly the right tactics to use after we played several friendly matches in quick succession. When we finally get booted out at the group stages, I'm so sure you'll be sacked. Yes, I support it before your negative and backward mindset rubs off on our players.

Now I know why ekong and balogun play for low tier teams. And why Rohr sought after akpoguma and udhokai (not sure about the spelling). These two guys are no less than 6ft2 inches yet they can get their heads to the ball in attacking or defending set-pieces. Haaaa. What a waste of God-given height. This is the kind of height I begged baba God for to noavail. Had I being blessed with it, I'd have fulfilled my dream of playing as a point guard professionally in the NBA for the Pistons.

Amaju pinnick. You are a blessing to Naija football. No other sports administrator has done half of what you did for these over-fed fake footballers. Yet, this is how they choose to repay you. Kai. Sir, you didn't deserve what you got yesterday against the croats. May God vindicate your good work one way or the other.

My fellow passionate fans, please lower your expectations, these ones didn't come to play ball. They only came to model and Slay on Twitter.
Gbam! That's what people don't understand. It's not the loss that's hurting me but the lack of effort and how easy Croatia found this game. Croatia didn't need to play well to win. We didn't threaten them enough. That's the major disappointment for me. Rohr is tactically useless.

However some here excrete that playing in the big leagues/teams is all that's needed. The things we go through... undecided

dont mind them. neither big league or small league matters. if you have big league players use them. if you have small league players, use them. if you have above average players use them. if you have below average or average players use them. what is needed or what matters( as iceland, iran, mexico and other teams with no pedigree will still show us) is that determination, passion, steel and the will to win is needed more than any other thing.

Let me ask you a question, I would like if you gave a honest reply.
How good was Ndidi and Mikel in the middle, especially with their ball distribution? How good was Iwobi? These guys were responsible for Nigerias inability to launch a sustained attack worthy of breaching Croatia.
Why is nobody talking about Ekong's cheap penalty give away? Was the Croatian player going to score if he left him alone?
How about the 2 center backs positioning in the box when the first corner kick went in? Do you know, none of our defenders where in position to get the second ball off that corner?

We don't want to mention all these but the whole blame is on Shehu of course. This is the reflection of the Nigerian society, were the perceived weak and defenseless are targeted. Sad reality of our times.

Let's face some hard truths. We played without any sense of conviction, no passion and no real desire.

Our players are mostly average that's the REALITY.

I noticed that Etebo, Ebuehi and Balogun signed new contracts well before the World cup.Oftem players do not commit until after the World cup anticipating that thier market value will go up after a good World cup.

But almost if they have assumed that we were never going to anything. These players decided to sign up now and not later. I am sure after this display Balogun would have been omitted from the list of wanted players

I am watching Mexico play with DETERMINATION, CONVICTION, PASSION, DESIRE, COHESION, DISCIPLINE and BELIEF.

All the things we did not show forger whether you play in Odogbolu or Real Madrid. Play with the belief you can win or do not turn up. This is the WORLD CUP for goodness sake, what more motivation do you need.

The German team is the perfect example why you don't pick a team on sentiments.
Neuer isn’t back to full fitness, a fit Neuer saves that goal.
Khedira shouldn’t be starting not with Can on the team.
Boateng hasn’t played all season and he has been lumbering in this match.

I am actually trying to make a valid point here. So which other match has Ebuehi played as a traditional fullback for us with VicMo ahead of him? In a 3-5-2 you have the luxury of a DMF and CB covering for you, its not so in a 4-5-1 so why is everybody so certain that Ebuehi would have been our messiah? He nay have been injured no doubt but that is the only yardstick we have and the WC isn't for experiments. Then again I advise you to go and watch Abidal playing as a fullback for Barcelona and are him doing exactly what Shehu did yesterday yet we won the UCL like that
i really dont have anything about your point. make your points without reference to the serbia match. finish

Ozil is an AM aka a 10. Jack Wilshere when he starts is a CM. In Arsenal's traditional 4-2-3-1, Ozil is the AM, Ramsey is the CM aka B2b aka an 8 and Xhaka is a Regista.
Just because Ramsey makes 3rd man late runs into the box doesn't mean he's a support striker.

You are validating my argument here.
You can't have two CM's in a 4-2-3-1 hence the advanced CM becomes a CAM. . .
BTW did you notice Ozil's role in todays game? That's down to the formation the coach deploys.

Let this world cup be done and dusted. This Super Eagles need serious injection of Big-Heart Players combined with their super talents.
