Because there is no hope they can win the second match as well. That first match was our hope.

We are talking about playing well. Morocco and Egypt played well. They created chances. A lot of chances. But we created only a few chances that did not even trouble the Croats. We were disjointed and unlike Morocco, Egypt, Peru, Brazil and the others who had bad games, there was no urgency in the way we played.

Please, don't put Beglin and Dumelo on the same page. Beglin was being objective while Dumelo was being petty and hateful.

The Main reason why Rohr should keep quiet and accept blame is that not once in 90mins of football did we have any meaningful shot on Goal.for goodness sake Subasic was on holidays he only made two saves from feeble headers which were lamely counted as our shots on Goal.he never for once had to touch the grass to save a goal bound ball is that what you expect from a world cup team??that alone is enough for me to criticize him.Truly Other big names are falling like pack of cards here I.e Argentina, Germany and Brazil but you see determination and of course many attempted shots on Goal or even goals scored but we Naija just want to run forward from the wing and cross the ball hoping that one lucky hand or head would be free to bang it in.abeg they need to be more creative and do more in the next game..it is looking like 2010 all over at this rate but we keep observing na...

Nigeria need two fast paced attacking forwards to score.

Play Musa and Iheanacho starting forwards. Bench Ighalo and Iwobi, let them come later.

Play 4-3-1-2 in next match. Playing one striker won't work because we don't have Cristiano Ronaldo nor Neymar nor Mane or Bale. If we had a fast paced skilled striker like the aforementioned, then we can play lone striker and be assured that any long pass to him may amount to goal. Ighalo is not fast paced, he is not skillful and doesn't have good and accurate shot on target to play that lone striker role.

Well, Lets Hope That First Loss, Reconfigured Their Brain.

true. Mikel, Idowu, even Ighalo aren't supposed to be in the team. We needed Victor Enyeama as our main goalkeeper, our current goalie is too inexperienced though no fault from him yet but I don't see confidence in him at all.

But to be honest, Nigeria dont have skillful, energetic players in the current squad; we would have gone far in this tournament if we went with our home based players who are still hungry for success.

I think its high time Nigeria stopped using any Nigerian player that's playing abroad unless the player is highly exceptional and formidable like Ronaldo, Mane, Pogba, William, etc.

We need to start using 90% of home based for every world cup, only that will guarantee us success because all these European based footballers playing for us are not energetic and goal hungry like the Flying Eagles where Iheanacho came out from.

Nigerian sports minister should have a way of making this our mandate; use 90% energetic home based players and few exceptional foreign based players

Gernot Rohr is not very clever

The set pieces were not exclusive events, the corner kicks came about because we did not control the game. May be in a 3-5-2 formation those corner will not have happened at the time they happened

Omeruo played in Middlesbrough and has experience of defending long balls. He is also a World Cup veteran but somehow not good enough to start. Please we need Omeruo in a 3 man back line

Ahmed Musa is a key player for us. We need his pace for 90 minutes, not 20 minutes. Another World Cup veteran sitting on the bench. He scored 2 against almighty Argentina at the last World Cup

Lack of wing play killed us. Iwobi is not a winger

We need Ebuehi, Musa, Moses in the pitch to give us some pace

My only problem with this team is musa and mikel starting, I prefer iwobi from attacking midfield role while kelechi for musa, and etubo to partner ndidi. Etubo was basically our best player.

What pained me the most is that after the first half Rohr could not see that his system was not working and make adjustments. Now he is defending himself.

It is not only Okocha or even Nigerians correcting him, ex football greats who commented on the match pointed at the same issue.

I think Rohr must be a learner to have refused to yield 2 corrections. All I want is 4 us 2 qualify 2 d next round or else what happened in 1884 will repeat itself...
