Chukwumessi starting against Huesca. He ought to score against. I'm also getting word that some Portuguese sides are monitoring Uzoho.

Can someone in the house confirm this. Our boy needs more competition.

Let's be honest....

If Uzoho had made that same mistake as Allison, the whole thread would've been crucifying him.

Int’l Friendly: Eagles to host either Senegal, Tunisia or Morocco in 2019

By Ayo Olu Ibidapo - December 16, 2018

Ahead of it’s return to the African Cup of Nations after a six-year absence, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will engage one of top three ranked African teams in Nigeria after the NFF concluded plans to host the game, AOIFootball.com reports.

With just one friendly window before next summer’s AFCON in a yet to be decided country, the Eagles will host the match three days after their dead rubber qualifiers against Seychelles which will be played on the 22nd of March 2019.

NFF president Amaju Melvin Pinnick who confirmed the news of the high profile friendly said the Federation is already working round the clock to ensure the team gets the best of preparations before the tournament in June.
“You know there is just one free window before the AFCON, so we decided on playing a top country to offer us good competition. I can confirm that we are going to be hosting a top team in Africa, one of the top 3 on the continent. “We play Seychelles on the 22 of March, then three days later we play the friendly match here in Nigeria. I won’t mention the country but I can assure Nigerians that the deal has been concluded already,” Pinnick revealed.

I think the last coach ran out of ideas as the team progressed. With the right application Chukwueze should get among the stats even more.

With the way we have been able to host these youth football tourneys like this U-16 competition,I can say football-wise we're on the right track. Most may not appreciate this now but the exposure given this kids is so so vital. Their development starts now.

Kenya hosted it
They played the final in Kanaru, Kenya

He was anonymous in the final match against Kenya though. Those East Africans dominated us completely, the Nigerians even had to resort to time wasting and faking injures just to drag the game to penalties. (Naija blood na Naija blood) grin.

I think the goalkeeper (and captain) is the most promising. Pulled a couple of stunning saves to keep Nigeria in the game. I couldn't help but notice the way he effectively marshalled his defence to hold out against the constant bombardment from the dominant Kenyan forwards. His ball distribution skills are way higher than what is expected of a 16 year old. Easily the best Nigerian player on the pitch on the day. Saved one penalty too.

Definitely one to keep an eye on.

He looks like Dele Aiyenugba's son but I'm unsure though

Under Klopp, average players can be transformed to.world class...Klopp proved that at Dortmund already...He is proving it in Liverpool.
Look at how much he bought Shaqiri,Salah,Robertson and Mane...and look at how good they are..

That's why I'm very angry with Gent for rejecting Liverpool's initial bid for Simeon...If they had accepted, Simeon might be a Liverpool player now and he would be balling hard!
