Do you know that Local govt. is only allowed to collect only Radio and Television levy?

Those rogues who call themselves local govt boys are just taking advantage of ignorant Nigerians because we dont know our right(s).

Local govt have no constitutional power to arrest/fine motorist.

Just shakara them. They will run.

But then... drivers should always find "safe" place to park.

Uber will remind you 1 month before your documents expire, and will keep sending reminders

slamstanlee:
So one can drive taxify with expired drivers license, and car documents...
Just met one driver, he said uber block his account cos of expired DL. So he is running only taxify.
That taxify is not organized na....

I heard some insurance companies laid embargo on e-hailing cars, hope axa mansard is not one of them
True, many ehailng cars almost run many insurance companies out of business hence the reason for that scrapping of insurance on ehailing cars but AXA mansard still do it.

Maybe he should draft the list as you advised and wait to hear what they have to offer first, if they offer below expectation then he can hand it over. I do that with some certain offline clients and most times they pay more than what I have in mind to charge
This makes perfect sense.

I'm sorry for quoting you, I hope you won't call me names this time.
Can any driver do 120k weekly consistently for a year?
yes. Some weeks are even better

I understand you points.
HP is not for everyone but that doesn't mean it won't work.

No one can drive 730 days without hindrance and when I said 730 days I didn't mean it in a stretch. No one signs a contract that doesn't allow for hindrance. We are humans.

My point is from a positive perspective.

If a Toyota corolla is totally sound, engine, body, gearbox and suspension it is very easy to achieve HP. I gave that guy a number of factors that would make him successful and if he sticks to it, he will be fine.

If you can consistently net 120k in a week and you have a good maintenance habit and saving habit, you don't need two years to complete the hp. You need those factors I mentioned, focus, and commitment.

A tokunbo corolla can go straight 2 months without needing anything more than an oil change. And if he uses the extended performance oil, 3 months before oil change. Let's not talk as if cars break down everyday.

At 120k a week, he owes only 35k.

Do you agree that with the remaining 85k left from that week, it is enough for him to fuel the car, eat, recharge his data and airtime and then save at least 25k weekly?

If a driver on HP can save 25k weekly, by the 12th month, he has saved 1.2m and has paid out almost 1.7m. If he decides to pay 900k to the car owner from his yearly savings, how many months do you think is left for him to complete the balance?

Don't forget the month of December.... Don't forget.

I understand that it is impossible to some drivers, but HP is very achievable if all conditions are met, especially focus and determination.

If you make 15k daily on weekdays, and 50k combined on weekends that's already 125k.

Someone like me will dust this HP but I agree that everyone doesn't have, not share my mindset.

Facts only
Thank you sir
I perfectly understandable you
And I really appreciate ur concern.
I will love to know u in person

Honestly something is happening to the e-hailing platform, it's like some people don't want to see uber and taxify on lagos road again, a guy driving elantra lamented how 10k was swindled from him just because he parked at Cameroon road, another guy driving Nissan was almost caugh were he parked but he was able to drive off speedily and almost broke one of the guys leg, I also parked at ikoyi on a street and immediately some passers-by alerted me that a towing vehicle is coming behind, sharpaly I drove off with speed and they were trailing me from behind.
The funniest thing is that you will see some other vehicles that are not uber nor taxify parked in all those places and they are not disturbed.

That's a serious issue, and calls for concern. Something has to be done, and fast

dressing like a houseboy in a clean car, and most time looking or holding ur phone,. 80% of drivers have this low self-esteem look written all over their faces,. That's how I recognize Uber drivers

for starters this is my current net earnings on taxify. I am using December and January. January that everyone was complaining, I made more than I even made in December... Facts only.

I'm going to minus February from this

Which leaves me with 547,227 for 8 taxify weeks.

By the way, I am only posting my earnings on uber and taxify. I am not even going to add my offline trips which is a bit over 100k in that period.

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Fahrenz: 9:51pm On Feb 05, 2019
Total net for uber = 424,802

Total made on uber and taxify for 8 weeks = 547227 + 424802 = 972,000

If I add offlines, it will climb to 1.1m but I won't.

972000 divided by 8 weeks is 121, 500 per week.

If I add offline it's 137,500 per week.

If you doubt me, I will wait till the end of March and then I will post for that 8 weeks again.

Now, where is my 15k?

You want to be clever by half. I'm a Chemical Engineer. 1) Choose any 8 consecutive weeks of your choice
2) Post your net earnings for those 8 weeks week by week
3) Earn your #15,000
4) "If you can consistently net 120k in a week" key words, consistently, net, in a week.
5) Why not stake a little something too, say like #7,500? Let's make this fun
