I just tried to place a request now from VGC to the airport.

Of course, taxify lite has the cheaper price. But if you say you had a higher price that what they think is obtainable, they will scream fraud, without prior consideration to the fact that the rider might have selected taxify, instead of taxify lite.

Too daft.

That's my January... This week I'm well on course to hit my target... I de alagomeji since 11, ate and been feeling sleepy so i chilled...will resume at 2.

Started at 6 taken a 3hr break, close at 10

Also, budget like 3ltrs (30km) for repositioning, sometimes you need to.
My tactics is simply to play the odds, places like mushin, very undesirable but I've never gone there to come out empty... Know why? Numbers... Thats why primewater view gardens, lagos island, vi at closing.. they so hot. Its the numbers. Take primewater for example, usually you find averge of 5 cars around, how many people do you think live in the 1 and 2. Play the numbers guys and you'll be fine. I agree some days are slow but generally you'll be fine.

Since you're too daft to know that the price difference is constant, irrespective of time. grin

You are only taking into consideration those things you can calculate.

What about factors beyond your control such as:

- sickness on the part of the driver and being unable to drive.
- damage to the car that will require a huge amount and would not allow driver to work for few days.
- Yanking off by UBER or Taxify due to low rating or any other offence.
- for anyone to put a car for HP, am sure that car wld have seen better days -- there is hardly anyone who can buy a chacha car and give it out on HP.
- bad weather, especially during raining season

So you can now see that you can hardly project income.

I think one of the places guys miss it is thos point you raised. Suppose you were doing a 9 to 5 and earning 140k a month. Note thats that's what you have if you net 35k weekly. You'll fall sick like every other person, your house rent, fix car, feeding and all other bills will come out of the salary so wheres the big difference. If you save like everyone else you'll most likely live like everyone else. On the flip side, how many people actually earn 140k a month? Not as many as you'd expect.
Driving means I'm always liquid, like one man I carried some time ago (He owns a school in festac) who also drives part time said "its like having a tree that grows money". This may not be accurate but i got the picture.
Also talking about tolls, shebi na rider de pay, your toll payment is reimbursed na...abi? So i dont get it when guys calculate tolls as part of their OpEx.
That's my account book and book keeping system

Love your operating expense brother..BTW alot of people earn 140k monthly just that their opex is over the roof..working on the island living on the mainland etc...dats what I said and I thank God Ave driven before..for any serious minded driver uber/taxify puts food on the table..it's not rocket science..yes you might not be a millionaire or build your house in vgc but you will be liquid..always having cash in hand...

Keep it up brother

I'm have this gps issue on my new 4g LTE phone, and it has forced me to keep using my old phone for taxify..

I 've tried correcting it to high accuracy, still movement inaccurate making me doing 2 trips for 11k with 1k fuel.

Now I'm back to using my old phone b4 I'm blocked with the normal fare.

Therefore if u have any useful comment on how to solve GPS issue pls drop ur comment.

( note: my car face backward when moving on the app and I noticed my car was on water while on 3MB on the app)

After setting out around 5am from ajah. Got a trip to magodo from Abraham adesanya. Got to magodo around 6am. 3500 was my fare. I didn't see trip until I drove to airport around 8.30am. Waited for 50min... When the request came in, it was a man going to egbeda. Wanted to cancel it. But my church mind said don't. Na so we start to they go. Got to egbeda and it was 2500. The man said I should end the trip that I would be taking him back to airport hotel on offline trip. When we got to airport hotel, na so the man count 10k give me. Ummmm. Good stuff.
Bro nice one. I got an offline too worth of 12k today. Ketu - Akute, Akute-ketu, ketu - ikorodu within 3 hours completed. It's all Gods grace. He deserves all d Thanks

You are a very sad man brother grin...so chucmoore used salt and pepper rite? really if I haven't driven on this platform and offered best of services and haven't met some amazing and respectable drivers both on this platform and in person (irrespective of the ridiculously low fares) while riding, I would say the calibre of people e-hailing in Nigeria contracts is below the minimum co-op and sociable IQ...

You always explaining your failure and wont humble yourself and learn...im really concerned for you brother...I feel like you need love grin and I pray you find it.

I wont condescend to your level to have a conversation with you nor quote you again because you belong in the jungle interacting with animals.

Please sir I don't mean no insult to your good person but im only stating my observations steeped from the fact that you cant carry on a mindful conversation without cursing which is very worrisome.

Cheers
it's actually a weakness.he shares the same trait with fahrenz. They use aggression and Insults to pass messages or make a point.it's the only way they understand, because they're weaklings. That's the plain truth, and I know it's gonna hurt.ready for their responses.
