I believe every cent should be returned back to the donors or every kobo transferred to a well known charitable organisation. They should not benefit 1 kobo from the death of this little angel. It is not the kind of benefit any loving parents will wish for. Ethically and morally that is the right thing to do.

That's why this family below should be applauded

A country PDP bastardized for straight 16 years without any inch of development after we fought for democracy with our lives may it never be well with PDP n every person supporting it.

The only crime the baby committed was being born a Nigerian. A country where the citizens have no access to proper health care. A country where the quality of life is low. There will come a time when children would decide to sue their parents for bringing them into a world of pain and suffering, when what they truly deserve is a functional society.

Who send them message to create NGO or charity.

So sorry the baby died though

PS(Edited)

For those saying it's hard to return the money.

I believe >90% transfered the money.

Ask the banks

It's super simple.
Leave them. They think they can fool everyone. This is why most people are reluctant to help

There is something called reversal when it comes to e-payments. It's part of the standard for financial transactions.

For instance if you use your Nigerian credit card to get something online with a money back guarantee, or something like you bought something in a supermarket and you arent interested again.

They can help you perform a reversal whichbis to return the money back through the chanell which it cam from.

Just need a transaction code type of reversal

Okay. So I am assuming they had hundreds of transactions ranging from #1, 000 to millions. Do you recommend they write the bank to reverse all transactions in their account from period A to B, the period where they started asking for donations I am asking for your recommendation because

1. How long do you have to reverse online payments and deposits?

2. Will you agree that their statement of account will be like a textbook due to the amount of inflow? Will they start screening each transfer or use the reference text, if any to return the funds?

Thanks for the enlightenment.

But we also live in a world where people want to see hard evidence. They want credibility. Even this NL had "pictures or aidonbilivit..." for every post sometime ago. Just as you don't believe any of the 'gimmicks', some see it as validation that the claim is legit. What do you think?

BTW, I don't fault your suspicions but just saying... All sides deserve fair hearing. What is your opinion on the father's reason for the delay? Is it a grand part of the 'script'?

Where was/is Kanu heart foundation in all of this?

Kanu's Heart Foundation tried its best across Africa in its prime time. He financed most of the operations from his personal income. But now that he's no more making money like before, no financial ability to continue like before. In fact, Kanu himself is having some troubles concerning his investments and business loans and court cases.

1. No Transaction is ever deleted in the Bank, no matter how Long so no law binds how long the transaction should be

2. Computers don't have any issues with processing any size or amount of Data. Its processed in seconds or minutes.

Have you used paypal before? If not, try to use it to buy something online and later mail them you are no more interested.

Max, takes them 3 days to give you back your money.

PEOPLE SEriously believe this story First money was donated and the said father went underground and after being called out by the foundation that raised the money, the baby now died on the way to Dubai ? Like on a bus rob Dubai or on a plane to Dubai?? Well that’s an easy way to explain 80m well spent

Incogni2o, I am not disagreeing with this. Nice response, I like it. What I am asking is practical steps they can take right now especially when you consider the mode of receipts and what a Nigerian bank will do in their case. Gofundme should have a channel to return funds but I am talking about a case where I am appealing for funds and drop my account no 001234567 for ABC Bank.

I also read the script you posted earlier but if I use my personal account for charity funds, will I assume that all donations were for the charity? Because that script as assumed for(donor in donors)
{
reverseDonatedFees(donor)
}

What defines donated fees? What is the period we are looking at? How will this be effected by the family? Should they sit down with the bank or what? That's what I meant by PRACTICAL steps. I don't want to say you should put yourself in their shoes but I just want a realistic step by step from you. Appreciate your response.

You should be very careful of what you think and what you made known to the public about your opinions on issues. He did what many fathers wouldn't do even if they are advised to. Let me assume that you haven't had any kid, when you do, you'll understand how silly you were by making this allegation.

I support you on this. In a country where things work.... the parents would've been investigated and most likely charged for murder.... charged for fraud ...charged for misappropriation/diversion of funds...and other charges. They would be imprisoned period.
I'm amazed how people.just swallow what is put before them without chewing...such people don't need tongues to taste nor teeth to chew. The father said the baby has a hole in the heart....taking the baby to Dubai?...a financial hot spot?..that's a red flag. Scam loading. Fast forward.... no shortage of funds... which I'm sure was used to bury the baby...ehmmm.... did they post anything about the funeral?... anything at all?..notice?..photos?....did they just bury the baby in the backyard?...shouldn't we have been brought up to date? Most important... there should have been an autopsy... that was a must... to determine if the baby indeed had a hole in the heart...and if it died of natural causes...or was murdered. Did he ever say which hospital determined the baby had a hole in the heart?
All the money need to be returned to the donors.... the same way they received it..the same way banks can return it to sender period. It is for the donors to decide if he can keep it for whatever new scam.

You can fool some of the people some of the time.... but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Okay sir. I understand. Thanks for the discussion. The family definitely needs to be accountable so that it is not seen as a way to scam people just as the poster above me is asking some valid questions for evidence.

It is unfortunate as there are many sides to blame for this but raising funds is not an easy thing. I have done some here and stopped because it is a thin line between doing good and people constantly suspecting you (which they have every right to question you).
