nobody disputes the efficacy of prayer but we put more emphasis on religious activities than working... if we put more hours to thinking and devising a way out in research and innovations as the whites does.. Africa would be eldorado...
now about the natural disasters in China and others. the geological framework of the Asian continents is different from Africa.. the plates (underground rocks) in that region are actually in Subduction zones IE they are moving underneath one another in a very high rate.. unlike African that is a stable craton. the reaason why we have many mountainous regions in Asia..
