Nigeria a country with almost 200m people, and over 60% of them suffering from low-self esteem. No sensible country in the world will let a college professor suffer such indignities because he tried to defend his country’s reputation.

am shaking my head because am disappointed in your further reasoning.. so that's your excuse

didnt Syrians that migrated to France, Germany, England, etc begin to commit heinous crimes
didn't you read where they raped women or killed.

don't some foreigners commit crime in a country they come into to

its recorded that our around 70% of crimes committed in the US are from foreigners (both legal & illegal)..
in all of this do you see European or western media's talk down on those countries where the emigrants came from ?

guy stop your foolishness

Is there really anything good to look up to in Nigeria.. Its good to be patriotic but sometimes we need to lash ourselves.. Nigeria is not just working..

I have been outside Nigeria multiple times, I am a Nigerian and am not bad..

Yes Nigerians can be desperate and not contented, but if we place all of them together in one category, how do we know we still have a good number of good ones.

Your opponents cant be fighting you while you fight yourselves... it would be total annihilation.

when you mistaken generosity for foolishness, this is the result.but to think of, don't Ghana have bad egg in other countries

David Cameron called your country "fantastically corrupt"

Donald Trump classified us as Shitthole countries

What did your leaders do about it? What are your leaders even doing to change it?

Stop hyping this country Abeg. Ghana just passed a message that it's their country and you must abide by their rules. Period

I'm against the prof, and I'm no fool

If it was tougher countries like China, he probably would be jailed and there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING our government or ASUU will do

You know why? We have no reputation. No laws. No enforcement. Our leaders go out there to berate their own country. Our politicians steal and bring it to their own country. From kidnapping, drug peddling, terrorism, prostitution, and all atrocities, we come out tops

And you know the funny part? We condemn those who judge us, but we never do anything to change the reason why they judge us

So kudos once more to the Ghanaian government. They should place a ban on the prof too. cool

Your assertions are wrong, there are worse crimes committed in other parts of the world. From Modern slavery in middle east to genocide and economic sabotage by western powers. Media propaganda and horrible living conditions in Nigeria makes jaundiced reports stick. In summary, there is crime in every continent, the professor was just trying to defeat the stereotype that Nigeria is a criminal nation.

In Africa, Nigeria is a criminal nation.... Let's just accept the truth. It has nothing to do with low self esteem

Nigerians flock into Ghana just to engage in internet fraud. I don't even want to talk about other issues and countries

Nigeria is a criminal nation. I'm Nigerian, and it's the bitter truth

am a Ghanaian and have been following your discussions.Nigeria is a nice country so is Ghana. The prof. was defending his country buh he forgot he went too far.Why do you say you will destroy the image of Ghana when you currently work in Ghana and take our salary. Why do you say it pains you to see Nigerians pay 10,000 dollars as fees in Ghana whilst they refuse to pay 50,000 naira as fees in Nigeria buh you lecture in these same Ghanaian universities as a Nigerian taking dollars as salaries and fat allowances hence jumping from one university to another since 2011 in Ghana. And he says Ghanaian certificates are rubbish and 20% comparable to Nigerian certificates. And when your university finds out this you expect them to say Thank you. When Ghanaian authorities find out you expect them to say Congratulations. He was sacked, arrested and charged for inciting violence and Ghanaians hospitality should not be undervalued

And about the Ghanaian media they are free as hell over here. That's why you keep hearing juju adverts and all sorts of insults at even the president on live television.Ghana was ranked number 1st in media freedom in Africa and 21st in the world in2018.We don't censor anyone or anybody. The only thing that limits you is morals which most of them ignore.Nobody is inciting against Nigerians. We have journalists here who are more powerful than even the vice president and ministers.Anas is one example. You guys can't even accommodate him for one day in Nigeria.

The bottom line is he was sacked and he received allowances or salaries or whatever adjective you deem appropriate,it's less of my concern.Nobody can destroy the image of Ghana because they have personal issues with us.The man even went on to degrade Dr.Kwame Nkrumah our founder. He's an enemy of the state and he's currently under investigation because he might have started carrying out any of his threats and said so we currently can't let him go.He has been granted bail so he's currently not under arrest buh he can't leave the country now. After everything if he's innocent of any action,he will be deported buh if he started anything, the laws will deal with him.
