CashEnvoy can be described as Nigeria’s PayPal. The service allows you to send and receive money as well as make payments on CashEnvoy enabled websites.
CashEnvoy performs payment processing for online vendors, auction sites, and other commercial users. It charges a transaction fee for receiving money (a percentage of the amount sent plus an additional fixed amount).

CashEnvoy accounts can be funded with Interswitch Verve, Verified by Visa and GTB Mastercard(Coming soon).

Websites already using CashEnvoy can be found on The Nigerian Shopping Guide

Interview with one of CashEnvoy founders can be read on http://mobilemoneyafrica.com/archives/2050

Online businesses creates good source of income for a lot of people across the world. It’s about time this industry starts to grow in Nigeria. With the clamp down by pay pal on payments made to and from Nigeria, a platform like CashEnvoy that charges no upfront integration fees could help in making this a reality. I think it’s a welcome development, don’t you think so?

Cash envoy can be integrated with all regular shopping cart software, it will take sometime though

Cashenvoy is not commonly used online.
Most big web ecommerce site has not yet integrated it in their website, what are you doing about that?

Intergrating cash envoy with my website as we speak, Obviously this service just came into play but it will pick up. As a cheap alternative to accepting payments, watch these guys explode as an internet company in the next few years. Assuming their services are good so far so good. It only takes 24 hours to transfer money to your bank account from your account that's wayy better than paypal that takes 3 days.

CE isn't new per say. Its been up for over a year and I think I started using it in their early stages. I don't see this as a Nigerian Paypal. I just have to say it works and works well and is good for those who dont want to deal with Interswitch and their fees and commisions. It needs some more exposure.

This is a welcome development.
They should try and remove some graphics on the home so that the site load fast.

I will advice Nigerians to webmasters to start integrating CE to their sites.

Hi. I need help with this cash envoy integration. I'm a bit stuck. From the example php files they provided, inside that example_callcepayment_interface.php,

What should the value of that $cenurl be?
Is it: example_ipn_usage.php'

OR: is it: example_requery_usage ?

Cash envoy is old school , the gold standard now is paystack

Yea sure. Ditched them long ago. They don't even answer emails, very bad for business. Paystack is bae. Thanks for the reply tho. I don't really know how things work around here so I didn't even notice someone had answered me such a long time ago. Thanks for the response.
